I played on hard mode, which, now that I know how easy unlimited ammo is to unlock, was a mistake. I died alot, mostly when I was still getting used to the controls, and again when fighting the elevator boss. The bot would drive me nuts sometimes, especially when fighting the two chainsaw guys in the oil rig - If you go down the zip line ahead of her, she'll just stand there and get decapitated until the zip line comes back. It was infuriating and I only got by it by getting a real person to play her for a bit. Also, whenever I ran away from something and did a spin and readied my gun, her head would ALWAYS be right in the way. She'd take 1-2 seconds to move, but when a reaper's coming at me in it's one-hit kill stance and I can't shoot through her, it had me yelling "MOVE!" at my screen a couple of times. I like the co-op idea, but people who had to play by themselves, like me, were probably needlessly frustrated. Not to mention that the survival horror is even less prevalent in this one than in 4, though that's a matter of taste, I guess. At least in 4, Saddler's 'right hand' was scary. Then, of course, there's the ending. I know alot of people don't care about the story, but I do (did). Other than that, the game was fun and awesome and definitely purdy, but after beating it once, I've put it away for a year, which is a lot less than I was hoping for from this game.

Holy smokes, I got a birthday thread! I haven't posted in awhile, so I didn't think there'd be one. Thanks a lot guys. I didn't really do much, I just played Resident Evil 5, ate rice krispy squares and . . . ate more rice krispy squares. All my friends were in town last week and we went out then. They reminded me why I'm ashamed to show my face around every restuarant/bar we go to. I'm playing CS again, but not a lot. I'm more into another server which has instant respawn gun game. With no noobs to P90 anymore, the real game gets frustrating quick, but I have been playing Retro a bit. I was leading on the Canada map on custom map night (naturally), so I still got some skillz.

That's what I don't get. I'd say it'd be impossible (or rather not worthwhile) to try and control more than two, MAYBE three, characters. Which leads me to believe that anyone controlling more than that is probably using some kind of bot, and that is what bothers me. I hate cheaters in every kind of game.

Yea, does anyone know exactly how he controls that many characters? I never actually did high level raids myself, but aren't they hard and require constant attention while playing just ONE character?

I've been searching feverishly for that since I read it here, but it seems to be just a rumour for now. The original site with all the information on Battle.net 2.0 seems to have taken all of their 'inside info' down. Either way, they'd lose me as a customer if they did. I'd have to be paid myself to touch WoW with a ten foot pole, I probably won't play SC2 for very long and I'll live without Diablo 3 if they intend to charge anything over $10/month.

The original PS3 had the emotion engine chip installed, which could allow it to near perfectly mimic a PS2. Software emulation can be buggy with some games, but I don't know how much so, I've always had one of the first PS3s.

Right away, I want to say its completely ridiculous, but I'm not a physicist. The way I see it though, is you could just be sitting, minding your own business, then you're dead in an instant from a nuclear blast. Accidents in science have killed people before, so I'm staying open-minded enough so that no one can say "I told you so!" when I'm compressed into a tiny particle not even remotely comparable to a grain of sand. But I doubt it will happen.

I agree. This seems to be the first step of going towards Vista where every time I do something it's like "Are you sure? Did you mean this? Here's 100 pop-ups that you have to accept to certify that you know what you're doing." But I'll wait and see, most of that seemed pretty useless to me.
