  1. Those are some awesome trailer SJ. I'm perfectly fine with this for the next year.
  2. I wasn't sore about anything you posted cat. I was merely stating that what one person thinks is cheap may not be what another person does. As onyx said though, I do prefer Intel+nvidia builds. I use brands that I have used and trust and also think are very solid products. For example, I only use G.Skill ram in every build I have done.
  3. Inexpensive is a matter of opinion. My inexpensive and your inexpensive are 2 different things I beleive. Even my build is not inexpensive in my mind. It blows me away how much this stupid stuff costs all the time, just for new technology to come out and replace it every 18 months.
  4. Also Cat, When i said $1300, I also meant with every peripheral i needed, keyboard, mouse, headset, Windows 7, CD drive, and even my monitor. Not just the basic inide parts.
  5. Newegg's site is being dumb slow. I'll try to get it up here in a bit. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130836 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117372 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314 Currently out of stock now, but I can find similar one for the price. This would reuse my case, PSU, and hardddrive. Which I would upgrade the harddrive to a SSD hopefully sometime shortly after i build it.
  6. Was that the one where you pick the spawn points? I thought it was fun also.
  7. Out of the question. You are talking getting a card that will eat up half the budget I'm trying to stay under. Unless you can find me a GTX 900 for around $150, then I can't.
  8. I get that some people really wish they would stick with the classic late 70's early 80's look for any new star wars that comes out. Of course they could have done a regular old straight light saber, but how boring would it be to see the same old same old. Personally the trailer looks kind of good to me. It gives it the look that there will be more action throughout, and less jibby jabby. Plus with the technology they have for special effects nowadays, why waste it on some boring, normal lightsaber. That's why Darth Maul had the double lightsaber, they wanted to freshen it up a bit. Though I'm not sure what importance the soccer ball and Tracy Morgan look-a-like really have.
  9. Kind of funny, as I'm not getting any of these random invites to friend or trade. I don't know what kind of circles you all are frequenting.
  10. Thanks for stopping by! We always appreciate when people see what kind of group we have here, and who respect that. Maybe think about joining us for that reserve slot It's only $15 for the whole year.
  11. Interested as in how much? *Though I would probably just spend the money for a 600-700 series at this point, since I plan on upgrading it all hopefully by early this coming year. Theres a GTX 660 3Gb card that I can get for $139.99 right now, after rebates. Also, I pretty much just play CS:GO currently, was playing D3 for a while but got bored again.
  12. So, my current build is from like early 2008. I know I'm in desperate need of an upgrade, but I'm not entirely sure I can afford it all right now. So I'm asking your opinions. The build currently is as follows: Intel Core 2 quad Q9550 8Gb DDR2 1066? EVGA GTX 260 896mb 500Gb HDD 850 watt Antec modular PSU So I'm really just curious if you guys think buying solely a new graphics card at this point will improve my performance? I could use it in my new build as I get more parts, but I didnt know if you thought it would improve it very much or not with the rest of the stuff. I have a new build on Newegg where i keep my case and PSU, but replace everything else for just shy of $700, but to me thats still a lot of money at once at this point. What are your thoughts on what route I should take?
  13. I spent about $1300 on my build, 7 years ago. I'm still using it, and I still get in the top end of frags in CS:GO most of the time. You can however get some decent stuff for arund $400-500 if you are willing to research a bit. Go the AMD route if thats the case, cheaper. Also don't look at your highest end graphics, look at maybe a couple models back. You dont "need" a SSD, thats just icing. I guess it depends on what you have currently whether or not you're really upgrading. I've been researching recently, and I could upgrade very nicely for around $600-700, giving i keep my monitor, mouse, keyboard, case, and PSU. Just do some heavy research for your budget.
  14. Yeah i just got this game, now im gonna have to give it a try.
  15. beroth!, also, dust is more balanced now that it has been redone in GO. Think it should stay in.
  16. Same as San, I was a sophomore in high school. I was in religion class when we were told about it, and my teacher wouldn't turn on the TV because he said we still had stuff to learn. Got to watch it in the rest of my classes that day though.
  17. Got me a Samsung Galaxy S5 about a month ago. First smart phone I've had since the HTC Incredible. I loved the Incredible, but I'm very impressed with the S5. Battery life for what I use is awesome, I'll get a day and a half out of it before charging. Fingerprint scanner is a little finicky, you gotta slide it just right, so i don't really use it. But overall its fast and does what I want it to, I'm happy. Did I mention I got it for $99 during their half off sale at Verizon? Best deal I've gotten on a phone, though Verizon has always been pricey for the monthly bill.
  18. Next thing you should spend your money on is classes on how to take a still sharp picture.
  19. Very funny man. The world has just gotten a little sadder as a whole.
  20. Thats probably the best tasting bacon ever. Right from the source, raw.
  21. Man, sad i missed out on it this year. Looks like it had a better turnout than first expected!
  22. Looks like a plastic bag with a face shooped into it.
