  1. honestly cujo with all the driver issues and random system crashes that I have been getting, I really should just F-disc. I think I will do it tomorrow, I have the day off. I'm thinking the easiest way would be to do a fresh install on a new harddrive and just port all my files I want to keep via a usb hardrive case. Unless I my mobo suppports multiple hard drives. How do I check for this? Cause then i could do a fresh install on the new hard drive and just keep that old one as a warehouse for all my old files. What do you think cujo, which is easier???
  2. Just checked, it is set the sound card. Any other ideas?
  3. I bought a sound card so that I could get around the problems I was having with my on board audio. I disabled the on board through windows shut down my comp put in the sound card, rebooted and installed the drivers. After restarting again I can't hear anything out of the sound card. I checked the connections and they are in the right jacks. I bought the crative sound blaster live 24-bit. Help please!!!
  4. He's so good, he answered his own question!
  5. Yes I uninstalled the previous ones completely then restarted and INSTALLED the correct ones. But like I said, it's weird cause it was working fine for a few days, then started to crash with the same error.
  6. I uploaded the correct drivers and it was working fine for the past 3 days or so. Yesterday it started happening again. Say error. Any thoughts???
  7. so uploading the correct drivers should fix. I will give it a try when I get home from work. Thanks again guys. You always give me the best help. should I do a full uninstall of the current drivers or will the new ones just replace?
  8. lol how did you find that??? When I went on the site, there were no links for socket-A mobos.
  9. let me check the box. Gigabyte k7 triton kt600 Model: GA-7VT600-P-L This is the blue screen of death...
  10. no m2 it's not the power supply I was having an error caused by that 6 months ago but I now have a 500 watt supply. Clueless I'm glad you mentioned sound. Now that I think about it. My audio drivers somehow got uninstalled a few weeks ago so I simply did a roll back. They weren't the drivers that came with my mobo but I thought they would work all the same. Could that be the problem??? Also I have tried to locate the correct audio drivers but gigabyte doesn't have the drivers on their website anymore. They don't support socket-A anymore I guess. Anyone know of a site that has old drivers???
  11. I'll be playing and at random times my counter strike will just crash. I'll get that send error report dialouge box and sometimes I even get the blue screen of death and my whole system has to reboot. I am 99% sure it is not an over heating issue per the fact that I have a ton of fans and took all my overclocking off and it still happens. Any thoughts??? was thinking could be a driver issue but I have been using these for months without any previous problems... I don't know. I hate when things don't work.
