what about binding the mouse scoll to fire?imo,that is the same as having wall hacks or aimbot.it puts you at a disadvantage when you are up against the duallies.
how is this the same as a hack or an aimbot?
It does nothing for aim all it does is makes it easier for you to fire at a fast rate. Changing your settings in game and using the scroll wheel is hardly an exploit. Its a game setting!

what about in de_prodigy,
planting in computer room in corner underneath stairs and then shooting a chiar next to it and then not being able to defuse it from the bottom, BUT u can defuse it from top of stairs with bomb underneath...
I say we just mention somewhere on the server that we follow cal rules and that can solve the confusion. In cal you must be able to see the bomb when defusing (no defuse through boxes, train, tunnel) and also you are not allowed to use objects in game like debris and barrels to cover the bomb to prevent defusing. There simply isnt the room to mention every "exploit" that cal conciders illegal so let them decided what is allowed and what isnt and just follow their lead. Besides I think when a server follows cal rules and everyone knows it, it stops being a pub and turns into a warzone of people with cal experience showing off their skill.

Yeah I have to agree with Rogue here. I myself was guity of the exploit on train and was unaware I was breaking a server rule. In fact this is the first Pub that I have been in that follows cal rules without something about cal being in the server name. Maybe there could be something added to the motd or the rules that are posted on the map walls cuz I am sure there are many players including myself that are unaware. Thanks for the competative servers guys!

Hahahah ok yeah I remember that... I needed cover and it is a pub I didnt realize that cal rules applied. I wont do that anymore. But you should play on west more so I can show you my ninja knife skills
I really appreciate the community you guys have established and will refrain from using that bind in gc servers but please be understanding if I do it a couple times on accident cuz I forgot to load my new gc.cfg
And on another note after I find a new house and move I plan on buying my gc membership

It's annoying... Please don't use it on gc servers. The guy backing you up has eye's he can see you reloading.
BTW please reduce the size of you sig to 256x64

and also people arent always looking at you to know you are reloading... if they were giving good backup they would be waching your flank.

Ok so I am sure you have all seen my "Cover me I'm reloading 114" bind when I reload in game. I like to use
this to let the other players behind me know to get my back and I find it helps me from getting blasted in the
face on a reload. However I was playing with SJ the other day and he asked me not to use it. I stoped using it
while he was ingame and then continued using it once he left. I thought it was just a personal request of his so
I didnt see a problem with using it when he wasnt in game. Then last night he started typing to me in console
asking me to stop using it alltogether on all gc servers. I can understand the reasoning (less typing in the log
files to review for admins) but I cant imagine it would be that much of a nucence. Only when under heavy fire
would I use it multiple times in a row but for the most part its just once every few mins. So I guess my
question to the admins and the community is how do you feel about this? Is it annoying or do you concider it to
be usefull? I can always use a different cfg for gc servers without the bind but I like to use it so I have to ask.

I totaly forgot about this map... yeah sure its open space so there is more awping but there is tons of cover with teamwork this map is VERY fun. I vote for it in. On another note I dont think we play de_inferno enough its a great map that everyone likes yet never play it.

So I have seen all kinds of trailers that look creepy and pretty good and it claims to be the number 1 scary movie in america but I havent heard a single thing about it. Nobody I know has seen it and that makes me hesitate to go see it. So I turn to you.... Is it good or should I wait for the DVD

This movie was so stupid. I dont know how people could enjoy it. Its a stoner comedy about videogamers. Sounds like it could be funny, right? WRONG! This movie just shows us the low-life trash of America. 40yr old men who live with their parents and do nothing but play video games and do drugs all day.
Not sure how old you are but I think this movie if for the younger generation (us kids from the 90's) Cuz I found it to be absolutely hillarious. I have made all my friends watch it and we all die laughing. I must say this is one of my favorite movies. I wish I could get some of the "Frankenstien" they have in the movie!

Yeah I am going to have to agree with everyone else. Cheating is cheating. Besides the player using them will not get any better... with an aimbot you would never learn how to shoot accuratly. I think time on an aim map would be much more usefull and fair to others.

Altron, you were not banned because you upset me or frustrated me. You were banned because you broke the rules of the server. There was absolutely nothing personal involved. You're a very good player, and I'm sure you're more than capable of racking up kills in a fashion that doesn't diminish the experience of other players in the server.
No worries, just sucks for me because my fav servers to play in I can't join. Can't play with my team and now I cant play in the other gc server. Just frustrates me to see some admins (not you witt) seeming to get enjoyment out of this. So I guess I need to find another community, I was going to join gc but with how things are going lately it doesnt seem like the smart thing to do.

These maps are meant to improve your aim, not going
on killing sprees in the oppossing spawn. This is why your re-spawned with 488 health.

Witt messaging me was like a ban request. The first was a kick and second a ban. It was only a day ban.tWc|Altron *Aequitas* : isnt that what these are here for?They're there because the map creator put them there. It adds creativity to the map. If it were a normal server, you wouldn't be able to spam the spawn with grenades as people were respawning.
So frustrating you act like I was camping the spawn and killing people before they were ready.... I just dont understand I am very easy to get along with and if you ask me to stop something I will. Yes I asked "isnt that what they are here for" but does that really deserve a ban? I still stopped and did not mouth off. If I have to wait a day I will but I just think this is a little out of hand and feel like I am being picked on.

I am not the admin that banned you, however I was speaking to an admin who did. I believe this is a day ban. You were originally kicked because after I asked you to stop spamming nades you responded with something along the lines of "Isn' that what they're here for?" The lag between that and the kick was due to the fact I had to message an admin. Your comment wasn't needed, the spawn killing was already out of hand.
When you returned, you immediately became confrontational, and insinuated that you were kicked for killing me. This was not the case, and your attitude was not needed due to the fact that, as I have stated before, the atmosphere in the server was already difficult for me to handle.
You were banned because you were killing people as they spawned. I had spammed messages in all caps, asking people to stop doing that. In addition, the server spams messages advising people to stay away from opposing spawns. You failed to comply, and that, along with the fact that you had already been kicked, resulted in a day ban from the aim server.
I'm sorry that you feel you were unjustly banned. In the future, please try to comply with the rules of the server. I was just trying to play and keep things under control. Having someone giving me a hard time, especially someone who is a tWc member, did not help.
I was not trying to be to make anything worse.... yes I was rushing the ct spawn but I was doing it to knife people I was not using my awp and killing them as they spawned in. I only used my usp when people wouldnt knife. I dont understand how this justifies a ban. Please John remove this ban so I can resume playing in this wonderful community. I will no longer rush the other teams spawn on aim maps. I did not mean to upset anyone when I did this I just like to rush and knife people. Thanks for listening.

ok I know I am banned from westcost server for three more weeks because I was using a mouse script that was decided as unfair and I am fine with that.
However, I joined the Westcost Deathmatch server to give it a try and witt@gcftw.com was in there playing with me. It was on an aim map and I was thowing nades into the spawn and was asked to stop. And I did. Then a minute or so goes by and I was kicked. Then I came back in asked what I was kicked for and was told to figure it out. I had stopped spamming and had not said anything. Then I got a response from him saying my comment was uncalled for. But, I did not say anything!!!! Ok, so I just let it go and start playing again. I rush the ct spawn an kill witt@gcftw.com then all of a sudden kicked and banned. I am sorry but I do not think it is right to be kicking and banning simply because I am killing you. Anyway I copied my whole console so you can see just what was going on. Please look into this and remove the ban on me. I would like to still be able to play in this server while I wait out the ban on westcost. Thank you for your time.

We have decided due to the issue of the offense(grounds for permaban) along with your desire to resolve the issue (points in your favor) it will be a 4 week ban. Not knowing that using the exploit was against the rules or illegal is not a good excuse, giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players is against the rules.
well I guess this will have to be ok but in my defense I went through the cal rules and still saw nothing against the mouse script that I used. In fact I have talked to many players in cal-m currently that use it. But I will respect your rules and judgement and wait out the 4 weeks.
