lol, you are freaking dead-on Cujo, I got desperate and did not want to pay for shipping or wait to build the system, so I went to best buy and got one of those $65 Antec cases with the 120 mm fan and the rubber gromets. I had $17 left on a gift card and it cost dirt cheap after that. Its funny, I wired it all up today and after 2 hours of struggling (never build a pc before) it is purring. Half life 2 never looked so good (until now I never could play it unless all settings were on minimums)!

Is SATA 3.0g/s the best format to use for gaming? I have SATA2 and SATA3g/s capacity on my Mobo. Also should i get the 16 mb buffer or will 8 mb suffice, I am an idiot, help me.

i have a ultra psu that prolly will break in a day but it was 10 bucks (shakes hands with the devil). I added it to the original post after your post.

My new motherboard uses this kind of connections... STORAGE Supported by nForce4 SLI -- 4 x Ultra DMA133/100/66 devices -- 4 x Serial ATA2 devices -- RAID0, RAID1& RAID 0+1 configuration What is the fastest kind I can get? and any recommendations? I dont need alot of storage, I just want raw speed and as cheap as possible after that, I never use more than 20 gigs on my HDs anyways. So, is SATA2 the best or what? me <----- this noob needs help
