I played it a bit if anyone is interested. It's pretty fast paced from what we're used to. Players supported is much higher, so games are significantly more action packed.

I really enjoyed finding an empty server and hopping on while skyping with 3-4 friends.. made it feel like we were all crowded around a single screen with an N64 again

Free Goldeneye mod for source, new version released a few days ago.  I had a blast hopping on with some friends, really took me back

I have some friends that do it, having a kegerator with beer on tap is the best set up I've encountered

So the past few Saturday Night Customs nights that I have been on, you nerds turn it to talk about books.  Being a big book nerd myself I love it.  So we were talking about various series last night again, and it got me thinking maybe I should start a thread about books.  I do have a GoodReads account, but I haven't done anything with it.  

 

 

My favorite fantasy books I would recommend:

Malazan Book of the Fallen (10 book series) - Steven Erickson

Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfus (i'm sure you've heard of and or already read this)

Sci Fi:

Enders Game (so much better than the movie) the sequel "Speaker for the Dead" is also pretty good
