I agree with you tbt on the announcement in some states. When you are dealing with millions of dollars I don't think anyone should be required to tell or have their name out out there. That's how people get robbed, harassed, ect. Flitter nice break down. I think I'd go annual payments honestly. 1) you won't blow it in 2 years 2) you will actually get almost the entire amount you won vs the lump sums amount (except taxes) but that's always a thing.

Well if anyone plays lotto like Tirtul and myself do when the powerball gets up to a high enough number we feel like it's time to get some tickets. The last few drawings we've gotten some. So what would you do if you won? Lump sum or payments? Charity or no charity? Family sharing or selfish spending lol!! Cars boats houses? Tell the world or not even tell your cat or dog? But most of all would you faint? Drop dead? Or say screw it and wait 6 months lol.

I really enjoy murder mysteries: I really got into the series by Betty Hechtman. It's a series about women who crotchet and always end up in some sort of murder that happens lol. It's got a good mystery side but also really funny. Anything by Sidney Sheldon. His mysteries will have you on the end of your seat until the last chapter. Doesn't have a lot of series really but he does have a few that get into multi-books. Favorite by him is: Tell me your Dreams (first one I read by him) Also a really great murder mystery series with a lot of comedy (at least imo) is Bryant & May by Christopher Fowler. I have never been into sci-fi but Tirtul is a really big fan. Also, my cousin's wife published a sci-fi book earlier this year that's available at Barnes and Noble. From what I've been told it's more for the young adults, but it's got some good reviews and I believe the sequel will be out sometime in the next few months. I haven't read it but might make it my first sci-fi read. It's called Tracked by Jenny Martin and Marked is the sequel coming out.

I just started fan duel since all 3 of my brothers and my sister-in-law are doing it. We'll see how it goes

I think this is it. This whole year seemed to just ball up and roll by so fast. Maybe New Year's Eve at my aunts will make up for the lack luster feeling I have right now.

I'm just wondering if anyone else isn't feeling the Christmas spirit as much this year as maybe we normally do? The last 2 years we lost Tirtuls dad and my grandpa around Christmas. This year it's been calm, we have a new home, new life and experiences. It just seems this holiday isn't the same as the others. The weather has been some what warm at times (yes when we lived in Cali it was warm lol) but we always came home to Kansas and felt that cold and there was snow. There is positive, it's the first Christmas in years with my mom, and my oldest brother and his family came down. But even with that, it just seems like any other day or week. It doesn't feel like tomorrow is Christmas Eve.

We live in Kanas, it was 11:30 on a Saturday and he was leaving Garden, he was going 90, the cops said he's probably drunk, Tirtul saw him swerve a bit behind him. It's almost 99% he was drunk. That's about the only people out here who take off if they hit someone, when they are drunk or drugged out.
