  1. Honest Trailers are good, but I prefer all the "Everything Wrong with _______________" videos. Like the one for Star Trek. Enjoy.

    Marvel Hero's

I played this last weekends open beta for Marvel Heroes. It wasn't bad. Looks to be a decent dungeon crawler. Played Iron Man and downed the first 4 "bosses." Anyone else play or interested in playing? S.
  3. So, why will my Steam profile not show up under my avatar in my posts? I have my battletag and I entered my Steam Community id but it sill doesn't want to show up. What am I doing wrong?

  4. Photograph technology is really starting to annoy me....

  5. Thats it! I was thinking I needed to find those DS9 episodes...
  6. Nothing is really known right now. They are calling it the "Dark Enterprise" online. Still no word as to what class or its purpose in the movie. Speculation is that it is a warship that that federation has been building in secret that falls into the hands of Benedict Cumbercatch's character during the movie. It has a cut out in the center of the saucer section and from other images online it is armored, has multiple photon torpedo tubes and phasers all over the place. I hope it isn't another "mirror universe" thing. We're already in an alternate timeline from the events of the first movie so I don't think it will be that. I'm thinking more like the secret Section 8 (or was it 10?) A covert branch of the Federation charged with protecting Federations "interests" with any means needed. I'm hoping that the movie is playing along the lines of the genetically enhanced humans story that ultimately lead to the Kahn story in the original Trek. From all the previews and trailers thats what makes the most sence to me anyways. Still, perhaps JJ came up with something new that will surprise us all. S.
  7. Anyone interested in playing this? Early access just opened and it looks spiffy. S.
  8. I'm not going to be playing CS:GO until I build my next rig. My current comp just can't do it if the server is full. If there are only 10 people on then I play fine, but once it's starts filling up my fps drops and gameplay suffers. So, hopefully I'll be getting it together by the end of the summer. S.
  9. Hello Friends, Want to show you guys a project that my boss, David Johnston has been working on. We finally have our Kickstarter live and want to show you the MojoFloCam. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2054005084/mojoflocamtm-a-video-stablecam?ref=home_location The MojoFloCam is a stabilization device for cell phones and small cameras. He's been working on it for over a year and finally are at a point with a prototype that he is satisfied with to now launch and move forward. Some of the clips from the videos on the Kickstarter page I helped film. We're really excited about this project and if anyone wants to support then please make a contribution on the Kickstarter. If you're interested but don't want to contribute of course thats fine too. Just help us spread the word! If anyone wants more information please don't hesitate to ask! S.
  10. Great topic Allanon!!!!! This is rather difficult to narrow it down to just 5 albums over ones' entire life. Music had more of an impact on me in my early teens into highschool then it does now, but I can't just focus on just one time period. Here is goes. In no particular order. Automatic for the People by R.E.M. In my opinion R.E.M.'s best album. This album covered a wide range of emotions for me and fit just about any mood I was in and influenced me for some time. Original Movie Soundtrack - The Matrix. This has to mark my entry into "electronica." Even though I had singles and remixes prior to this album this one really pushed me into the genre. A genre that has since splintered into many sub-categories which I probably have a sample of everything currently playing on my iPod. Deep Breakfast - Ray Lynch. Ok, if anyone knows who this is or what kind of music he plays I give you major kudos. This and other artists is what I was listening to at a very young age. My grandmother would play this for me when I needed help getting to sleep. This probably paved the way for me for many of my musical tastes as it does parrallel several other genres of music. Drink the Sea - The Glitch Mob. This is my current favorite and only on this list because this album is just completely awesome from first track to last. I haven't been this excited about an album or a group since I was, well, a teenager. Crash by Dave Matthews Band. Ok, honestly I'm not into DMB anymore. Nothing to do with their politics or anything, but this was the goto for me in a very troubling time in my life and I now associate this music with that time in every regard possible. I've completely moved on from that time any everything associated with it. Still, even though I don't count myself as a DMB fan I can't ignore the impact that this album had. Well, there you have it. Are these my all time best albums? No, but each played a very significant role in my life. So much so that you could actually chroeograph my life simply by what music I was listening to at that time. "What a long strange trip it has been." S.
  11. I'm more interested in woods ball and I'm hearing from both sides the pros and cons with each. I forgot which gun I was looking into but it wasn't electric. I've put this on the back-burner so-to-speak due to other things that have come up but I'm still interested. I'm hopeing I can get some other friends interested as well. S.
  12. I'm currently pricing a new AMD build and I'm not going to wait for the 8000 series either. My budget is $1100 and I'm using the AMD 8320, Asus Tuf 990FX Gen3 Rev 2 mobo and a 7950 for the vid card. Hopfully I'll be getting everything ordered in the next month. I'm going with this Asus mobo because it actually has the Thunderbolt header on the board with the Asus card currently waiting for approval. If you haven't used Thunderbolt do yourself a favor and make sure whether you go Intel or AMD that it has TB. It is a dream for folks like me who move large files constanly. I actually want to put together a TB display but I'm only planning on running two monitors. I'm more interested in it in storage. Anyways, I'm getting carried away. Yes, $1000 for a vid card, no matter how unbelievably awesome is just nuts. S.
  13. After taxes I pay about $54 for this service. I could be getting a lot better connection but I currently live in an apartment complex and there are a lot of people on this hub. Remember, these tests are in Mb which is MegaBITS, not Bytes. So do some math and my actuall MB is about 2.24 MB per sec. Still not to shabby. S.
  14. Found the GC group but how do you join? Is it invite only? S.
  15. Waiting on loan approval is nerve racking!

do you need a loan to buy a game?

  16. I think I've found one of my problems with CS:GO. My rate is locked in at 80000. It will not let me change it. Any idea as to why? S.

  19. Only one in GC who plays SC? Silly Cat. Anyways. I'm also very excited for HotS. I never got into the competitive SC play but I enjoy a good 2 v 2 or a good old comp stomp. S.
  20. It's going to be on PC and the PS Vita. You can actually download it now and play it on the Japanese servers. There is an english patch out that corrects most of the text in the game. Sega is keeping it F2P but you can buy tickets for things for your avatar. All the items are cosmetic so nobody can just buy the best weapon/armor/etc and out class everyone. I'm hearing that the US and Europe will be on the same servers. Although you can only group with with three other players in a group you can see other players outside and your group and actually "Team" up with other groups to do encounters/quests/boss battles. At least, thats what I'm seeing on these vids. That could change for the US version. The videos from PAX are the most recent and although it doesn't give you hardware specs for requirements it doesn't look to be all that graphically intense. I'm also hearing that it will launch in February but nobody has anything up for preorder right now so that may be false. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it. S.
  21. Awww. BL2 is a great game. Ohwell. Great to see that others are interested in PSO2. Still says the release is early 2013. I'm going to go look up some vids on it. S.
  22. Nice. Now, will you both stick with it and actually play it or will this be another "Borderlands 2" ? S.
  23. Anyone interested in playing this when it's released in the US? I've played PSO on the Dreamcast and loved it. S.
