Will report on my favorites after tonights play session. As of right now, I highly recommend getting everything in the other stuff section. It is all visual improvements that make the game better in my opinion without ruining the ambiance.

After reading this thread http://gamerscoaliti...steam-workshop/ I decided to go and hunt down a bunch of mods and give them a try. Some are to improve the game for me, and others are to improve the fun. I figured I'd link the ones I use and let you guys see what L4D2 looks like to me. i haven't had the opportunity to play as all these mods, so there might be a few bugs I haven't seen yet. Also, I get a few errors in the AddOns section, but I ignore them. Yeah, that game sucked ending in a tie. I'm glad you got a screenshot. I tried to get one but I was too slow.

The big thing is that Nintendo has screwed up when it comes to online connectivity. Friend codes? Really? Why not Friend LISTS. They fixed that with the 3DS. I hope the online functionality with Pokemon X and Y is a lot better than the previous games in the series. Back on topic though, I love how a misclick caused a war and $20,000 dollars lost. I tried playing EVE way back in the day and even during the tutorial, I looked a little like this. The game seems to have a really steep learning curve and if you can muscle through it, it seems like it would make for a good game experience. I was expecting a steep learning curve but compared to last time I tried EVE, the tutorial is WAAAAAYYYY better. I haven't been confused or stumped yet. I did run into one issue but google made it easy to resolve. Otherwise, I give this trial run two thumbs up compared to my last try.

After reading about the massive battle in EVE, I acquired a 21 day trial and I'm giving it a shot. So far it's not too bad. Sadly right now, I'm having to train up a lot of skills so I can improve my combat effectiveness. It definitely is 100% sandbox.

The tactical flashlight looks like a solid improvement from personal experience. Stay Puft is self explanatory. If someone makes ghostbusters survivors, I'll switch over in half a heartbeat. I'll post my thoughts on the mods later tonight.

From my understanding, the developers turned down the game speed in that area to 10% of normal in order to facilitate such a massive fight. Supposedly the equivalent of nearly $20,000 real dollars was lost all because someone clicked a wrong button. Here's a (not) short explanation of things.
