  2. im 3 hours in, i got the fake key from the second dog, what now? i've wandered the whole mansion checking every door. IIRC the note talking about it said someone would use it to acces... something in the backyard?
  3. you are welcome for the binds! and thanks for the tip on resolution thing, i have a crappy pc as well, so my game ran at 20-30 fps on the server.

  8. posting to ask about this type of situations, because it has happened to me a few times. if theres a tank wrecking the survivors and im out of anmo and points and nearing the safe room, should i help the team or wait in the safe?

  11. if none of that works, something may have been corrupted in your game files somehow, uninstall game trough steam, check the game files to see if theres anything suspicious left besides the addons & settings files. remove it and back it up (in case its actualy important) then reinstall. steam recognizes some files as modified by the user, so it doesnt automaticaly delete them nor get replaced by the cache check. i had this problem when uninstalling a program called sweetFX something. game wouldnt run.
  12. played it trough yesterday (on low graphics settings) my honest opinion is that it is fun but way too loaded. map 1 is overall pretty great but the extra trip to the first saferoom at the end is too much, we(i) got lost and couldnt see the path after we spoted the train wreck. we got tank'd there map 2 overstays its maze-y welcome, its fun at first (its like parish's maze extended) but then it turns into a strugle finding which way you are suposed to go, some paths are far too covered and you have to go blind trough them, and then theres the ones whit walls where i have to strafe to the sides repeteadly in hopes of finding the way out. map 3 was ok. but still too many trees. i think the whole campaign would become more fun both visualy and in gamplay, if you used more wood/green fences instead of those solid-bushes and toned it down on the "blind paths" like that bridge in the 3rd map, or the house frame that you go trough & starting botleneck right in the begining on the 2nd map all that said, i prefer it now over how it was previously, but if this is gona go on the regular rotation it will still empty the server. too demanding on the graphics. if its just meant to be a special map that we will play now and then like pathing nights and such, its perfect how it is, dont change anything. iirc, sassy and dixie said they crashed as well.
  13. veee, you need to a take a nap hahaha thats a cool idea vlad, but muting those sounds completly would be far too op, and partialy mutting them would just force people to change the sound settings which would become anoying very very quick. i think it could be done if it were like a timed thing, or maybe one use per spawn, in both cases it would have to be a personal thing, not team wide. and even then, price would have to be pretty steep for something so potentialy op in close quarters also, it should give a messague to survivors that someone is being "silent" just like witch mesagues. if it isnt an addon messing whit sound files then something must have hapened to the jockie sound files. go to the Properties of l4d2; local files; verify integrity of game cache.
  14. played a bit of the first map of swamp yesterday, great work on the town jackie, it feels more challenging now, like you REALY need to rush out of those zones. a couple things i noticed: -infected bots were getting stuck behind the rock thats near the engine used to call the boat. they cant be seem by survivors and just stay there forever. they also got stuck on the upper room of the mini store, but that place is fun, if you go there to avoid spitt or boom you get smoked and stuff. -on the river, if you smoke from the leftmost rock and your prey goes a over the car in the shore, its a guaranteed kill. it felt kinda too easy of a kill spot tbh, maybe you could put the rock a bit farther away from the shore?

  16. lol you can see chomspky rocketing to the building. same here, i though it would go live at the same time custom campaigns do.
  17. did this happen recently? i havent been in the server for a couple weeks now so i duno about then, but i have never seen anyone stomping on the infected team whit the m60. and now that i think about it... the m60 SHOULD be kind of a big deal, at least biger than it currently is. like 50 points for m60 whit infinite anmo and 10 more for the laser, that would be something to look forward to in long rounds.

  19. the finale has always been perfect in my opinion, and the servers tend to come back from the death on that map more often than not.
  20. thanks jackie i got a sugestion, dont cover all of the fence, leave a couple spots to see trough from the gas station. RIP in peace my fps, why so many? D:
  21. a couple of breakable boats or haystacks would help the tank spots too. insta-incap props, like cars, would be too op in the more open areas.
