  1. In all seriousness, regulars who play the server I want to hear your voices relating to this topic. Despite the reason it was nerfed, the AWP is way TOO nerfed. The AWP went from being the 2nd/1st most played gun in the server to being the VERY last. Seriously, people will buy a silenced uzi, any assault rifle, and any other sniper rifle for that matter rather than use this version of the AWP. People would rather use the DEAGLE over the AWP. Ask yourself when was the last time you played AWP was, and why you don't play the AWP, and why you don't see other players using the AWP.

  2. I agree with this on many levels; for one it takes some sort of skill to play each special infected esp while working as a team , why does boomer and rocket jockey generate the most points

I 10000% agree on hunters; there are some skilled hunter players out there and it is actually extremely hard to land anything in general against a decent team of sharp shooters who know how to watch the sky and general hunter locations; in a competitive match no one wants to play hunter because it wont generate points, its like a shot in the dark. They really need to buff hunter damage/points on standing players, keep points down for incapped players.

I would like to see more achievements to work towards, was asking for that a long time ago

It's an old game but somehow we keep getting 10v10 matches with regulars. I remember a time where we had both servers completely full and there was a wait to get in. With the holidays around there a lot more people coming back to play; regulars, people we haven't seen in a while, and complete noobs; personally I get excited to see new players with new potential skill if they stick around; but they need to be dealt with leniently with warnings and such before kicking if we wanna keep some sort of community, I'd like to see some updates of the server.

  3. I second this, it's almost without hesitation sometimes and I believe it could've been handled differently. There are other commands for this reasoning perma-bands should be used as a last resort imo otherwise we never give new players a chance to fill the server. He tried to come back into the game right after (possibly to apologize) but couldn't. Also, if someone asks reasoning for a kick or ban there should be a legitimate reasoning and spoken with professionality from an admin if asked. This shouldn't be a dictatorship where one person holds all the power and say when people pay for this server.

  4. Look, I know some people get relatively serious when they play on GC and take their gameplay competitively, but considering how intolerant swearing is on this server, I'd like to point out that ADMINS need to ALSO abide to the same RULES that this server entails. Without specifically pointing out names, admins in general shouldn't have the ability to drop f-bombs on the mic for all to hear, and then without hesitation kick a new player for typing donkey in the message chat without warning. This obviously goes for all members in general, to abide by the swearing rules. But considering I can name at least 8 times this months hearing swearing on the mic from DIFFERENT admins, I felt that it needed to be spoken up about. It actually takes more effort to use the push to talk button and swear, than to just not swear to begin with. I won't post something without a video evidence so here is one but I am not trying to target this specific admin I really want everyone to just get along while following rules, and I enjoy playing with all the admins and members here,

  5. I've never done anything to Merc and I've treated him really good everytime I've come into the server. For the past few months he's being kicking me just for playing as the hunter class. And he's says countless times over the mic that i'm doing nothing in the back and i'm not a help to my team, when everyone can agree that I'm a good player and try my best for the team I play on. I don't troll, rush, or talk trash about how people play like Mercman does. I know better because I WAS ONCE AN ADMIN TOO. Which is also why it's extremely annoying because he's an admin and should know better... I'm attaching two twitch videos i happened to be streaming. One of them is was the event that happened with Meng and Carlos and the other is me being kicked for playing the hunter class. (mercman plays smoker class 95% of the time and rarely plays other classes).

He calls Carlos out multiple times for his skill-level and calls him trash over the mic, says we are standing still (which we weren't). Meng mutes him after Merc calls Carlos trash and asks Merc to stop complaining otherwise he might as well be muted. Which everyone agreed it was very foul of Merc to be doing, and he's done this many times before to Carlos. He is a regular member who loves playing gc and plays team-based. We didn't like how he was talking trash to people and abusing his admin powers. There is then a kicking competition back and forth between the two, and eventually Merc perma bans Meng and also bans carlos for a week. It was to my knowledge admins shouldn't have the power to BAN other admins... This is very corrupt. Very corrupt and not setting  a good example for this server. And there's been many complaints about Merc kicking people for no REAL reason when all of us have been members here for a while. Mercman needs to lose admin powers, it seems like every time we join there is an issue similar to this so we are finally speaking up.

    Unban Meng and unban Carlos.

skip to 10:00 for intensity, but the entire video leads up to this point.

  6. Hey guys, I haven't played in a while but have been back on recently because I really missed playing l4d2 with everyone! With that being said, I really would like to play more often and be more involved with the community, one of the things that have been making it really hard for me to do this is not being able to invest in a better laptop or pc. Mine is about dead, I've had it since I've been in middle school and it runs below 35 fps. Honestly the only game I'm able to run on it from steam is l4d2, and barely lol. Because of my financial situation throughout the years I haven't been able to make this investment, but some of my gamer friends suggested I try out a go-fund-me to see if anyone wants to help out from the community, give it a read if possible and anything is helpful! I really want to start streaming on twitch! :)

  7. I was just thinking of some new things that could possibly be added to make gameplay alot more awesome. One such thing is more achievements to get. Like a third Sky Diver achievement, 2nd showstopper, 2nd leveling achievement etc. Another thing i thought of was how we have VIP mode, i talked to alot of members and they think having a mode where all survivors must use grenade launchers only sounds alot of fun. Post any ideas you have that would be cool to add into GC i wanna hear'em!

  8. Practicing has alot to do with developement i'm sure you've heard that with anything; I never took lessons and idk how to read actual sheet music either haha so don't get discouraged from that. Also a note for finger picking, i like to make sure i keep my nails short on both hands while playing. Some good exercises you can do to develop your skill, take something that you have a hard time doing (for me i have  hard time doing sweet picking); start off slow and then make your way doing it faster. However I like to start off with learning something at a fast pace so i know what i'm dealing with, then i slow it down (if that makes any sense). Something that will really help you develop skills without learning scales or something formal, is picking a song you REaLLY like and try to learn it. You have the most connection with this song and motivation to learn it (which will make you enjoy it and enjoy hearing yourself play the notes). So when there's a hard part in the song that normally you don't think you can do, since it's a tune you really are connected with it'll be more natural for you and that's how I developed myself.
