Hey all. I was playing on the gcftw.com | Retrocedence server on 10/11/07 (today ) The map was on de_contra, I was ct side. I wasn't wearing my team tag, just playing as gl' Was just playing and chatting with everyone on my side, when all of a sudden I was banned. It was around 8pm EST I play on the server quite regularly, and so does the rest of my team (Nightling, Bigtymer, Frown aka Holland); so I am quite shocked by this ban. Um, okay. I got banned for killing hostages. Which, according to Lunk, is not allowed. Honestly, had I known I wouldn't have done it. But, I was feeling frustrated and a bit tired, and hearing their screams as I shot them at point blank range had a relaxing effect on me, and brought a smile to my face. Thinking it over, I realize that killing them would also prevent them from being rescued by the other team, and cut off a source of money for them. So I expect that's why it's not allowed? Anyway, I'd like to request unbannination, as well as apologize to any CTs I may have inconvenienced. I will state for the record that I intend to be a less lethal terrorist in the future, and should Valve see fit to include a hug emote and animation in CS:S In the future, I shall be the first to use it on any and every hostage and CT I see... can't we all just get along? After the whole banning Tookey for using "Inappropriate names" I let it go because I can understand your POV. However when someone else comes in with the name "DBag" and I say something about it, I get this response: (You can check logs on the brief conversation through ma_say) Nothing is done at all. Limbcutter comes in as DTest Sicle, and an admin tells him to change it. I just want to know what names are appropriate and which aren't since obviously names like "DBag" are "Okay".

Hi, I have just been banned for team killing 'Whitey'. I would greatly appreciate being unbanned, as the gc servers are one of few places I enjoy playing CS. My steam id is: STEAM_0:0:122781 I was banned under the name 'Linji', but usually play under the name 'Central #YiXn.uk'. I was banned on the main CS server. My ban was justified. I deliberately shot 'Whitey.gc' in the head at spawn, was auto-slayed, and was banned a few seconds later. There were, however, a few specific events which led to me breaking the rules. I'll try and state them as objectively as possible, as my aim is to explain the circumstances, not to justify my actions. At the end of Piranesi someone said 'All Rush B' on the mic. I'd called this a few rounds earlier, and it hadn't worked, so I decided to go to A with one other player. I was the last person alive, so I moved towards the bomb at B. A ct killed me at bombsite B. When I died, just before the map change, Whitey.gc called me a 'loser' over the mic, and it was clear that he wasn't joking. On the next map, dust2, I was the last member left alive because I was typing comments along the lines of 'why 'loser?'' and 'why did you call me that?'. I didn't get an answer and then spent the next 10 seconds standing next to the bomb, deliberately not picking it up and shining my flashlight on it. At the start of the next round I looked for whitey (he was on my team) and shot him in the head with a deagle (took 50 damage). I was then auto-slayed and banned. I hope that I've conveyed that this is a one-off incident. I dislike this type of behavior in other players and apologize for displaying it myself. I was upset by Whitey.gc's comments, as I play on your servers particularly to avoid such insults. However, this did not justify my actions. I apologize and assure you that I will not act in the same way again if you choose to unban me. Thanks. Central.

Yeah, so apparently his panties were in a bunch because of what somebody else did, something about dating his sister and he doesn't have a sister and hes gonna ban somebody and he didn't think it was funny (everybody else did) so there was an arguement blah blah blah so I started making noises in the mic to get them to shut up and play, when surprise! kicked without warning. Ok rejoin, ask 'how old is the admin?' more people blabber on the mic and then I said well I just got kicked for nothing. Then somebody said something else and I responded with I didn't do $***. banned. maybe you shouldn't play with PMS you might not get all hurt about people dating your non-existant sister.

Hey, I got banned earlier today for what I believe to be team flashing. However before this I "intentionally" killed another player and I believe that both of these reasons got myself banned. I made a terrible decision of letting my 6 year brother play and I seem to be paying for it. Anyways my bad, I'm sorry to the player I killed, and for the team flash. I was playing on the gcftw.com | Retrocedence server on cs_office at 1:45 PM when I threw a flash into a room and got killed, then I found myself banned. My clan mate was in there too so I asked him "wth?" He said he got in a rumble with "xt.n2" I believe and got banned, but I don't see what that has to do with me. I was not even on the same team and I wasn't doing anything wrong.
