  1. Dude this show is worth checkin out. Super indestructable teen girl, teleporting space-time bending japanese dude, flying bros, revelating painting, mind reader cop. It's getting better and better. The first episode was a bit draggy, but figures as much with the deep story line developing. This one will definately last a couple more seasons.
  2. This was made in 2005 but I havent seen a dvd for sale about it anyone know where I can get one if at all. http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movies/gravedancers.php
  3. I cant remember the name of this TV show for the life of me. It is a TV show about men who work for the US government and they are basically a on call delta force. They're own wifes dont even know what they do. The lead character is the guy who played the black president for 24. I think it aired on ABC? CBS? anybody know? AH ha! Its the unit. Has anybody seen it?
  4. Kind of an interesting movie. It was a bit drawn out but pretty dramatic. Lots of squirmish scenes. I guess I was expecting a bit more since the actual crime was so intense. Grade: B
  5. Oddly enough, I kind of liked this movie. I can't go into detail why because it might spoil it for other people, but the premise was quite entertaining. The end of the movie was pretty dramatic as well. It did have some subtle humor. Nothing hilarious. AND! It didn't really do the same thing all Adam Sandler movies do: Everything is fine for him, something bad happens to him, he tries to overcome that "bad thing", he over comes it, and gets the girl at the end. 4/5 stars.
  6. It's totally the best show since Seinfeld. It's so flippin funny you'll die laughing. Aug
  7. JUST GOT BACK FROM SEEING TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE THE BEGINING Good horror Flick, not "scary(style)" as i predict the Grudge2 will be SAW THE DEPARTED YESTERDAY preety good film, at least worth the watcch.... good if u like movies that keep u thinking/guessing well i had to post about txchanisaw massacre!! -texas wrecking crew- in my eyes, was created to show the pwnage of that crazy guy.. being based on a true story of course is... weird... aiyee
  8. so...what would you say are the 5 Greatest Films (in your opinion) to ever be made? 5 Funniest? 5 Scariest? 5 Most Dramatic? What about 5 Best Soundtracks? in my opinion the 5 Greatest would be: 1) Braveheart 2) The Great Escape 3) Watership Down 4) Empire Records 5) I've got no clue.
  9. Has anyone seen this yet? I keep trying to see it but havent gotten around to it. Looks pretty good.
  10. Anyone else really excited for this movie? It's starring Tony Jaa, from the movie Ong Bak. If you've never seen it, I highly recommend you go rent it now! It's reminscent of Jackie Chan's older movies, having lots of stunts and whatnot, but Tony is alot more acrobatic, and has a different fighting style (Muy Thai). Don't expect much of a story though, but then again, would you really want something like a plot getting in the way of the action scenes? Anyways, going to go watch it Friday night. Anyone else?
  11. Vovik

    Crank

I love the actor. Jason Statham, he's really good. The movie is pretty decent. Some features like the chase camera and phone rings are pretty innovative
  12. So I have seen all kinds of trailers that look creepy and pretty good and it claims to be the number 1 scary movie in america but I havent heard a single thing about it. Nobody I know has seen it and that makes me hesitate to go see it. So I turn to you.... Is it good or should I wait for the DVD
  13. Meatwad

    WTC

Anyone see this yet? Oliver Stone's directing it right? Is it any good?
  14. Someone tell me it was good. I mean, it has Sam Jackson and snakes...what more can you ask for!!
  15. How many of you guys have seen this movie? it came out in january but only recently have i heard of it and watched it. It's an Adam sandler production. This is the description of the movie. Since we're all gamers here it's a pretty cool and hilarious movie to watch Alex has one sweet life. After walking away from his death by accounting job, he's now a video game tester at Brainasium, the company responsible for the worldwide gaming phenom of "Eternal Death Slayer." At 35, he may be the oldest tester in the business, but he's also the best. But when his roommate fails to pay the rent for six months because he's spent every last cent at Madame Wu's Filipino Palace, Alex unfortunately finds himself on the street. His friendly dealer Dante can't let Alex crash because he has a business to run and besides, the guard lion will be arriving any day. His friend Jeff agrees to put him up, until that unfortunate accident involving Alex and the action figure in the bathroom--which Jeff's mom happens to, well, catch. Alex's last resort is to move in with three hot babes--that's what he tells his friends, at any rate. In actuality, the 35-year-old finds himself living with his sweet and loving 80-year-old grandma Lilly, along with her two roommates: the "been there, done that repeatedly" octogenarian Grace and the not-quite-all-there, overly medicated Bea. Brainasium's New Age-y honcho Mr. Cheezle has brought in hotshot game exec Samantha from New York to help whip "Eternal Death Slayer Three" into shape before its street date. Seems the series' creator, uber-nerd wiz kid J.P., has been coasting on his rep--he was a millionaire by the time he turned 13--and his newest entry has a few bugs. The game's kinks are no prob for Alex and the Brainasium testers, which leaves time for Alex to help Lilly with the house and to try and bag his new hot boss while continuing to work in secret developing his own game, called "Demonik." Things start to get tricky, though, once the cat's outta the bag about who Alex is really rooming with--that is until the gray ladies warm to Alex's friends at an after-work party, thanks to that special tea they found in his room. Amazing what a few tokes and tequila slammers will do to loosen things up. But when jealous nerdboy J.P. swipes Alex's "Demonik" and tries to pass it off as his own, it becomes a battle of Gen-Xers versus gin players when Samantha produces a secret weapon: Alex's grandma Lilly.
  16. For those of you who watch asian films this is the american remake of Infernal Affairs. Looks good considering we screw up most remakes. Click
  17. SO i watched it last night and i found it awesome. I wont lie i wasn't a clerks fan when i saw the original. A $10,000 budget movie in black and white didn't catch my eye. I watched the original clerks this past weekend just to see if i'd like it 2nd time around and i did. I then watched clerks 2 and died of laughter at some parts. Kevin Smith rocks!!
  18. So I had heard this was better than Hero and Crouching Tiger. We went the other night and it is definately NOT better than either of those. It is an interesting movie but has a poor ending and some strange scenes. The cinematography is absolutely amazing though. The scenery is beautiful and some of the shots they have are breathtaking in their color and originality. I would give it say it is worth the theatre price if you are not sure what to see and have seen the major releases, otherwise wait for video. We gave it a 76/100
  19. Me and the wife saw it at the drive-in lastnight it had some pretty funny parts in it, but it wasnt great.. The second movie was Little Man with the Wayans Brothers in it, that was terrible.. So for 12 bucks the 2 movies were ok, both were short so we got out of there at 12:30, a few weeks ago we saw Superman Returns and Pirates of the Caribbean in the same night at the same drive-in and didnt get out till 3am!! The funny thing is, the drive-in where I live is out in the country WAY past where LostOften works and he works in hicksville.. But the movie was packed with Nascar people, it was almost more fun watching the people than the movie.. LOL
  20. http://www.worstpreviews.com/media.php?id=21&place=trailer I'm not sure if anyone saw that crazy picture of Samuel and the plane, which was a fake advertisement for a movie called Snakes on a Plane. I thought the whole thing was a joke, until while reading IGN today, I discovered this is a real movie due out in August. If the concept of a movie simply CALLED Snakes of a Plane doesnt make you laugh, you should watch some of the clips and trailers in that link above. At the same time, this also might be really smart - I'm so intrigued at how badly this movie may suck that I actually might go see it (I hardly watch movies anymore). Snakes on a Plane! The more you hear it, it seems to have more and more of a ring to it.
  21. I saw this friday (too bad it wasnt thursday, or I could have met the producers of it). I thought it was pretty funny, but most of the funny parts were either predictable, or already shown in the commercials.
  22. Just saw it last night with my buddies, definately surpassed the first one and it was an awesome movie! They did a great job with the special effects and kept up the action and humor through the whole movie. Just wondering what everyone else thought about it. Can't wait for the 3rd one! BTW, if you go see it stay through the credits, there's a little something at the end
