Saw on tv yesterday that a studio is now working on the script for Wonder Woman the movie. Who would be wonder woman?

Anyone besides me remember Dr. Who? Its an old BBC series I watched when I was a kid. The last one I watched was The Many faces of Dr. Who. Theres supposed to be a movie coming out. Dont know whos the star they chose to be Dr. Who. Anyone have any info?

The road to Guantanamo looks good. I think it will show how awful that prison is. Its based on a true story about three british muslims that were taken to Guantanamo Bay prison and kept there for I dont know how long. Eventually they were released and there were no charges filed against them. It shows how ridiculous our government can be. No one knows for sure, but almost everyone suspects that the conditions at Guantanamo Bay prison are inhuman. I want to see this movie.

so yeah, just caught the last hour of the premier last night. I had heard some things about the show before and it looked...odd... anyway, after watching the last hour...I think I'm hooked. The whole premise of the show is that over the last 50 years, some people disappeared. Then suddenly on July 11th 2004 (the date of the premier actually) 4400 of those people miraculously reappear. I don't know if they have aged or not (I don't think so since one of them dissappeared in 1951 and still looks like he's 30-something). The thing is, that no one (even the people who disappeared) know where they went. They don't remember a thing...I think (but remember I didn't see the beginning so I don't know) that they even don't realize that any time had passed at all...one character was thinking about missing his wifes party that night when the party had happened like 30 years ago. So anyway, after they reappear, 5 of them become main characters along with 2 Homeland Security Agents. The 5 people who are main characters (and presumably other folks of the 4400) begin to develop supernatural powers. One man causes waves of energy to shake things and bust peoples heads open when he gets angry (though it's not something he TRIES to do). Another young guy can drain energy from people just by touching them (think Rogue from the XMen). Another little girl can tell the future, but she doesn't know what she's doing so she tells people what she sees (like telling her new foster parents where they're going to be buried...then the next day they get a brochure from the very same cemetary). Another woman is pregnant and doesn't know from where (her husband was out of town for weeks prior to her disappearance and she wasn't with anyone else). All in all, based off of the Pilot...I'm giving this show a 9/10 score. For reference sake, Friends - 10/10, Seinfeld - 9/10, Firefly - 10/10, Alias - 9/10 (at least the early seasons), Family Guy - 10/10...those are shows I like. Yup, this is an anime series. I first saw the episodes on Cartoon Network on Saturday nights a few months back. I thought it was stupid and stopped watching it for about a month, then watched another with my son and my mind changed. I got sick of waiting and waiting for the next expisode so I did a search on Youtube and found that every single episode is on there. So I watched them all in about a month's time. This has to be the best anime series I have ever seen. More so than Full Metal, DBZ, YuYu, Inuyasha, and others. You have to get past the first 10 or so episodes before the show gets good and once you start to realize how great the characters are, how great the stories are, and even though the action is fabricated, you will fall in love with this show. The level of detail that they go into when it comes to the mytholigy of the different fighting styles is great. Naruto is like the underdog that you always root for. You can not forget the bad guys, especially the one evil guy. He rivals Darth Vader in the evil department. The humor of the series is also great and quite funny. Give it a try even if you do not like anime. There isn't any life action tv show that can match the unique story of this show. And for once, the Japanese voice actors are actually great and I got completely used to reading subtitles watching these. This would be the first anime from me that would get a 10/10 from me. In comparison, Inuyasha and Full Metal would get 9/10's. http://www.youtube.com

Went and saw this today, thought it was pretty good but for those of you who know the comics will be very angry thats all i have to say. After more people see this we can discuss spoilers.

Just a thought... instead of saying "SPOILER!!!!!!! DONT READ" and then writing out the spoiler, wouldnt it be better to make em like this: Spoiler: The main character dies at the end by a spider bite. (highlight to read) Just make the text the same color as the background. There are 2 different colors used, and they alternate every post. It always starts at dark though <-- dark <-- light maybe it's just a waste of time, but oh well

This is a nice movie. From begining to end its action packed with hardcore violence and complete with gritty, twisted and perverse characters. And all that takes attention away from the plot and the McGuffin. And the McGuffin being the snub nosed revolver in this case. But thats cool cos these characters are hard to like and hard to watch at sometimes. So thats why I liked it. And its been compared to Pulp Fiction and Resovoir Dogs, if you dont know much about it.

A friend of mine works at the theater, so I got to see this movie a day in advance. Anyways, Id give it 2.5/4 Stars It was good, but not great. The movie should have been shorter for one. Secondly they could have called it "Tom's Clues" because the whole movie Tom Hanks is just solving one clue after the next. Its worth seeing once, but not worth rushing out to see.

I just got into this show after finding the entire season for almost nothing at a pawn shop. Very good show. Unfortunately, only one season was ever made which is depressing, the show is really good.

Sup everybody, I didn't realize that there was a movie section, so I had posted about this movie in the Chit Chat Blah Blah section. So Im not gonna bother re-writing my entire post, but I am just gonna say that I loved the movie and I would recommend this movie. It aint about some killer who is immortal and is killing for some stupid reason. Its a true horror. 0/4 Stars This has to be the worst movie Ive seen so far in 2006. Its gross to the point where it should have been NC-17. Even the main titles were gross. It wasn't extertaining or fun at all. The movie just made me feel sorry for the main characters the whole time. I left the theater feeling angry and disgusted. *Gross Spolier* / / / / / There was a rape scene in the move that was so gross and graphic that I do not recommend anyone to see this movie. It was gross to the point that I almost left the theater. A young teenage girl and her older sister, who is a mother of a newborn, get raped by some freaks who laugh while doing it. Not to mention that their mom has to see it happen. Oh... and their father is being burned alive during the scene too...... / / / / / *End Gross Spolier* PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS MOVIE!!!!! Luckily I didnt have to pay for it since a friend of mine works at the theater. Yet, I regret even seeing it for free...

Last night's episode... just wow. Anyone that watches this show end up completely surprised at the turn of events last night? Not to mention a main character death?

I read the book about this when I was a kid. This was considered to be the first true haunting ever documented scientificaly. One of the investigators became a president of the United States, cant remember which. This thing came back to haunt the decendents of John Bell. Theres a construction project underway on the site of the original house. Condo's.

Ok i know this one has an original thread somewhere but I don't feel like spending 2 hrs looking for it : ) I saw the "evolution" thread but thought, I'd better stay away so I don't get spoiled. I atcually like this movie. a few things bothered me. 1) bad effects of the lychens (spelling) epsecially when shes in the hallway and like 3-4 of em are running on the walls. Theyre like running a whole .0004 miles per hour. What was that. all they needed was some good effects and this movie for me would have been really fun. much better than blade. 2)whats up with the halfbreed getting worked. Hes got the skills of a vampire and the strength of both. but he gets his butt kicked by the old man. OK OK he's not old cause he's immortal. whatever, he should have worked victor! 3) They make the warewolves look weak. It's like at the beginnign they kick but but then all of a sudden at some point in the movie theyre like chiuauas running for for their lives. They should have made better effects for this movie. OUT!

I saw this movie, and dont think I stopped laughing until the credits... then they showed bloopers and I laughed even more. Anyone else see it?

awesome. finally, a movie i liked a lot

Anyone watch this show? I got the first season from the library and could not stop watching them. Over the last couple months I have burned through seasons 2,3,4 and caught up to current season 5. I can think of nothing negative about this show - I love every episode and think it is amazing.
