Fatty September 8, 2004 Share Fatty GC Founder September 8, 2004 since we've posted in these forums. I don't considere remembering a form of mourning, I just like to remember, out of respect...out of pride.

spiralstairs September 8, 2004 Share spiralstairs Member September 8, 2004 My uncle was a FDNY fire chief when 9/11 happened. He lost a lot of friends. He hasn't been the same since. I am going to a wedding in Denver this weekend and its on 9/11 which is really odd.
Playaa September 8, 2004 Share Playaa Member September 8, 2004 I can't even believe it's been 3 years since the towers collapsed...I can still remember the exact feelings of dread and awe and wonder and fear that I felt all at once when I saw the second plane hit the towers... Silver-Bullet September 8, 2004 Share Silver-Bullet Member September 8, 2004 Me too playa...i heard what happened when i was in school, and i was thinking about the pain it would cause people. Then when the principal said "if anyones parents or relatives work in the towers, please come to the front office. We will find out if they are ok. My best friend walked out, and my heart sank. Luckily, he got out quickly, but most didn't. I was also lucky because my father was a commanding officer at a nearby precient, but he was teaching upset. If he wasn't, he probably wouldnt be in this world right now...
