That's phenomenal. Man, that must have been a CVAR/driver writing nightmare.


Oddly enough, he'd be better off doing this in DooM 3 than in Half-Life 2. Half-Life 2's already optimized pretty well, and in DooM 3, there's easily less than half the poly count on-screen at any given time, than in Half-Life 2.
