Unclean September 20, 2007 Share Unclean Member September 20, 2007 I run the game for about 20 minutes, and the machine locks up. Black screen. Sometimes it seizes up the entire PC, so I have to cut the power. Seems to happen shortly after switching classes, but not always. I'm running on a eVGA 7900 GT KO, updated the drivers two days ago. Haven't done anything else troubleshooting-wise. Pondering an uninstall/reinstall, which I could try tonight/tomorrow at work. Any other ideas though? I'd recommend rolling back to the 162.50 drivers (Can be found on guru3d) or another driver you like I've tried both 163.xx drivers and I get some craaazy stuff on my screen with them (can't even take an in-game screenshot to show it off, because the screenshots turned out fine!) I do have a problem with TF2.. can't play full screen. Have to play in a window or else it just crashes to desktop (I can hear audio but the screen is just black for a moment then crashes). Try playing in a window?
Shazz September 21, 2007 Share Shazz Member September 21, 2007 TF2 has an update. This might fix some of the problems you two are having. One of the updates addressed window mode.
Unclean September 21, 2007 Author Share Unclean Member September 21, 2007 It crashed on me again, but before the last update. I'll try it once more over the weekend to see what happens. And cpmoney, thanks for the suggestion. I installed 162.18 drivers though... those were the latest I could find on nvidia's website. I'll check guru3d though, and see what happens with those.
