dragonfly May 19, 2008 Share dragonfly Member May 19, 2008 I went and saw this with a few friends last night. I liked it better than Narnia 1 - I thought it was done better. However, I can see how some might have been a little confused especially for the first 1/3 of the movie if you have not read the books. I read them all as a kid, so I knew what was going on. Unclean May 20, 2008 Share Unclean Member May 20, 2008 I watched it over the weekend with Lady Unclean. We were talking about the Golden Compass beforehand, and how there are a lot of anti-Catholic/Christian messages, and it's kinda the opposite of Narnia. She didn't see the symbolism in the Golden Compass, but after watching Narnia 2, she was laughing because she spotted so many. We both enjoyed the movie - 3.5 out of 4 darkarchons.
