I've had enough surgeries that it's almost a game for me to see how long I can last before the anesthesia gets me. See if there's a clock near you when they start the surgery and ask them when they're adding the anesthetic. Kinda fun...takes your mind off matters. Last time I tried holding my head up and afterwards the nurse said I shouldn't do that anymore because my head dropped with a 'thud' when it kicked in. I was on my belly, mind you. Ringadon April 25, 2009 Author Share Ringadon Member April 25, 2009 Well I just got back from the hospital, where a surgeon said that if I had appendicitis it is a very strange case of it. I should monitor my symptoms and report back to the Doc if they get worse but I look like I may be in the clear. Thanks for the prayers and support. I really appreciate it all.
