At first it looked like a bad attempt to be "300" the TV show but it is its own show and is pretty good. Very adult and graphic since it depicts the Roman empire during the time of pure decadence. Jibbajabba February 19, 2010 Share Jibbajabba Member February 19, 2010 I have seen parts of a few episodes here and there and it seems like it could be a decent series. The only parts I haven't cared for are the fight scenes actually. They try too much to be like 300 as you stated. I also thought 300 sucked too, I hated how they filmed the fighting scenes with the slow mo/ camera angles and overall I just didn't like the movie for characters/plot/other various reasons.
