Dota has been out for 6-7 years already. Nothing has changed from the original. Dota 2 is just a updated port because the Warcraft 3 engine limited what IceFrog can do with the game. If I could get a beta key I would play it, and I only played DOTA like twice, could never get into it. But I would give DOTA2 a try, and suck just like the people you speak of. I may not know the current meta of the game but I know enough to call mia, ward, push, create item and hero builds. Everyone just picks a hard carry, farms all game long and expects to win. Also, I mean bad as in I know they have played quite a few games before, by their trash talk. If a person is coming from LoL or never played before I would understand.
