ZeroDamage December 10, 2011 Share ZeroDamage Member December 10, 2011 I used my wife's Mac to purchase and download Mac OS 10.7.2 Lion then used a tool called Unibeast to create a USB installer for Lion. It is still in the process of installing but when it is done, I intend to make an attempt at installing it on m Laptop here. Lenovo Y560p with an i5, 6GB of RAM, ATi graphics (could be the problem) among other things. I used the built-in Windows 7 "create system image" tool to backup my entire computer before making the attempt so I can recover if it fails. I am just bored and looking to give it a try. Will post updates throughout. ZeroDamage December 10, 2011 Author Share ZeroDamage Member December 10, 2011 It is now installing. Using a USB 3.0 drive in a 3.0 port makes it go fast. 10 minutes remaining and I just started. I got it to initially to boot up then I started getting Mac's equivalent to BSOD and now it will not boot. I may try again but if that fails I will reinstall my backup Windows.
