Cinkadeus February 15, 2012 Share Cinkadeus February 15, 2012 (edited) Since my new TV has this built in, I'm selling my old one. Figured I'd post here before I ebay it. Its a WD Media player that plays AVI, MP3 files on your TV. I used it all the time to play ripped DVDs. Simple to use and hook up. Uses a USB thumb drive or portable usb HDD to store videos. Its Standard Def (red/white/yellow RCA hook up) and will not decode H.264 or mkv files. Only AVI, divx. And the manual said it had YPbPr cables but it did not. Just R/W/Y. Here's a link to the manual: http://www.wdc.com/w...4779-705033.pdf $25. excerpt: Supports an extensive list of file formats Enjoy playback of a wide variety of DVD-quality file formats including RealVideo without the need to transcode. Supported file formats include AVI (Xvid, MPEG1/2/4), MPG/MPEG, VOB, MP4/MOV (MPEG4), RM or RMVB 8/9/10 for video, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP and PNG for photo viewing, MP3, WAV/PCM/LPCM, WMA, AAC, FLAC, MKA, OGG and APE for audio playback, plus subtitle formats of SRT, SSA, SUB and SMI.[/font] Edited February 15, 2012 by Cinkadeus
