amertrash February 29, 2012 Share amertrash Member February 29, 2012 http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=35585202 Certainly nothing official but supposed screenshots of SC V and a little write up on it, and it looks back to its roots after the Simcity Societies flop. I still play Simcity 4, would be pumped if its real. Also if its anything like SimCity 4 it'll take 2 years before it runs decent and doesn't crash every 30 minutes

JackieChan March 4, 2012 Share JackieChan GC Alumni March 4, 2012 Why don't they make another Sim Tower game? Given they don't screw it up and the feel stays true to the original, it would be a first day purchase for me. I only liked Simcity up until the third game. I didn't like the 4th one too well...felt too difficult at the time and for some reason didn't hold my attention like the other ones did. Definitely going to check this one out though. JackieChan March 5, 2012 Share JackieChan GC Alumni March 5, 2012 It sucks, I can't play it since I'm running x64. Unless someone has a fix they want to share with me... *edit Woot, figured out how to play it Yup, running Windows 3.1 in Dosbox! Isn't there anything it can't do? http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=27770 is where you can get it at.

boiler March 6, 2012 Share boiler Member March 6, 2012 I remember with simcity 2000 back in the day that once I got a city fairly well established with a decent tax balance and revenue stream that I would let it run over night so I had piles of cash to play with the next day. I actually still have it on this very laptop, and played it only a couple of months ago. Good times.

boiler March 28, 2012 Share boiler Member March 28, 2012 SimCity 2000 was the only version I ever played, but this one is very relevant to my interests.

VooDooPC April 15, 2012 Share VooDooPC Member April 15, 2012 I played the original SimCity all the time as a kid. I was a huge fan of the Sims series and owned almost all of them. SimCopter, SimCity, SimPark, SimIsle, and a bunch of others. I hated the roads in SimCity 1, they would fall apart constantly!
