anzul May 19, 2015 Share anzul Member May 19, 2015 the botton below ESC opens the console, but only in 'murican keyboards... first of all, enable "Developer Console" in your options. if it doesnt, right click on l4d2 on your steam game's list and go to properties, then on the "general" tab pick "set launch options" type: -console, click ok, and then open the game, the console should open when you enter the main menu, bind toogleconsole right away i recomend making and autoexec.cfg file on the \Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\cfg folder instead of binding the comands trough console, its easier to modify/reconfigure in case you mess it up, i think. read the thread for tips on that. you can also type -novid on "set launch options" so the game doesnt play neither of the intro vids everytime you open it.
