AI Companions are hard to code it'd be and/or are only there for the purpose of driving the story and almost borderline a lego brick that finds stuff for you. Also ending is super cliche, kinda hate that, Like Friday Night TV series cliche. EDIT: I wonder if TV writers are actually getting jobs in the game industry, it would make a lot of sense.
