what was the problem last time with caps and bsp stuff? We tried to play de_monasteryGO_b2 saturday night but San, Tony and Me were the only ones who could get on. Tony had to DL it from server but no one else could??? whats happening?

No idea. Tony tested it earlier that day and the download worked fine.

 

Also, swift doesn't have enough spawn points for us to play. Needs to have at least 24 slots.

will mention that to him. Biggs said something a few weeks ago when we tried to play Quick little Jungle war there was a little problem dealing with CAPS and something.. maybe i"m messing you up the maps file name is de_monasteryGO_b2 I think thats it if its case sensitive

The files are named exactly that. Do I need to rename them to remove the caps?

Yeah this happened last time when I loaded up de_Quick_Little_JungleWar (don't remember if that's the exact spelling). It seemed to work fine with only a few players connected, but then booted everyone out when switching to the map with a full server. My assumption (untested) was that the fast download server wasn't working because of some kind of case sensitive issue. The bzip files defaulted to all lowercase, but the files on the game server were unchanged, still having some upper-case letters.

 

I changed everything to lowercase for consistency, and I think that fixed it the next time around. I blame turnbull.
