Fenix August 15, 2013 Share Fenix Member August 15, 2013 (edited) I was working at Best Buy and work at the PC department...and I spotted a couple hotties checking out the macbooks. I headed over and started helping out. One of the girls was goofy as hell and her hair was slightly purple/blonde (she just colored it). She said she needed a Mac Air 11" because she was headed to Vancouver this weekend. After helping her for a bit and getting a good look at her, I realized I knew her from somewhere but I wasn't sure where. Then a buddy of mine who's more of a geek than me told me she was a cosplay girl...and I knew right then and there who she was.... JESSICA NIGRI!!!!! So I never got a pic with her because I didn't want to scare her off, but I did talk to her a bunch about Anime. She wrote down a couple anime shows I should watch and we chatted for a good 45 min while I helped her with her computer stuff. She's a total geek and definitely isn't fake...meaning she is a fan of lots of video games and anime, and doesn't just dress up for the popularity. Anyways, she has a pikachu phone case for her iPhone to represent her first Cosplay costume that made her famous at Comic-con 2009. There is an anime convention she's headed to in Vancouver this weekend, so I'm sure we'll see pics of her coming up. FYI she had semi-purple hair, so I'm guessing her character had that same hair. She told me what it was but for the life of me I cannot remember. Anyways, I guess she lives near me in AZ. From what my buddy told me, her "hotter" friend and her did some Assassin's Creed stuff recently, and her friend has a sic tattoo of something from Assassin's Creed on her leg. Look at her Mad Moxxi cosplay and tell me that it's not actual cosplay, sure as hell beats a lot of the crap I see at most conventions or furr cons. She enjoys what she does, if that makes her a tool then damn, I guess a lot of people in the world are tools. There shouldn't be any shame in doing what you enjoy, even if it means showing some skin and being comfortable with your sexuality. Anyone who says otherwise just has problems with theirs. There's a difference with showing some skin and walking around almost naked at FAMILIAL EVENTS... And of course you think she's a good cosplayer, if she had a little extra weight and wasn't the typical american blonde chick with big boobs, you probably wouldnt even notice the costume and would start criticizing her face and her weight. First of all, I am not jealous of her, I don't like her for many reasons and I have the right to and calling me jealous is just childish. You guys think she's hot because she dresses like a slutty/ porn-ish version of many popular characters and as i said before you wouldnt think her costumes are THAT awesome if she wasn't almost naked. Ok it looks cool, ok she has the skill to make the costume (when its not just a bit more than a bikini and halloween props *refering to the pikachu pic*) but its still over exagerated.
