Snowflake January 22, 2015 Share Snowflake January 22, 2015 Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on window's office? I had my computer rebuilt a while back and realized I need window's office for school.
Johnny January 22, 2015 Share Johnny January 22, 2015 Schools usually have (student ) discounts for Office products. Depending on the school, it's like 50%-100% off. Ask the IT people or Student Services or some similar department.
Madvillain January 23, 2015 Share Madvillain January 23, 2015 Johnny is right, check at the student center/book store, they should have a couple options like Office University. It's much cheaper than normal office but needs to be registered with a school email address.
Johnny January 23, 2015 Share Johnny January 23, 2015 Lol oh yea. Bookstore. But usually the bookstore is the worst place to get anything... Avoid the bookstore unless absolutely necessary!
onyxdragoon January 23, 2015 Share onyxdragoon January 23, 2015 (edited) I'm sure it's different between every school but I'll explain how the one I work at does it. There is a "tech" store that sells 1 Office license for about $15 with proof you are a current student. You can download it free through the university software website but it must be activated through the KMS every so often. We have a MSDN partnership but it doesn't come with Office. Check your school if it has it. Or you could get Office 365 Edited January 23, 2015 by onyxdragoon
stutters January 23, 2015 Share stutters January 23, 2015 Do colleges not teach kids how to Google anymore? Sheesh. Office 365 (4 year subscription) for students - $79.99 (normally $336 for Office 365 Personal Edition x 4 years) Microsoft EDU Portal - see negotiated pricing for your campus/university.
