They left a way for you to increase it though Why is that important? We cannot run all the maps we want to if you cannot DL very large and sweet maps like de_haunts. So do this..........or you'll be on the sidelines! So how do you fix it? Go to your Steam game library right click on Counter Strike: Global Offensive and select properties Then Choose "Set Launch Options" In the launch options box you should type/or copy and paste: -maxdownloadfilesizemb 250 QUICK NOTE the command line in the first screen shot is incorrect. Flitterkill February 3, 2015 Share Flitterkill GC Board Member February 3, 2015 Valve made this change back in May of last year and unless you were downloading monster maps you never noticed. It was originally something like a 60-ish meg limit but people yelled and it got bumped to 150meg or so and they added that client-side option to over-ride the setting. Why any of this? There was a bug or something whereby people could get tricked into downloading multiple-GIGABYTE(!) sized zips or what not through the redirect servers. Valves solution was to bake in a limiter.
