acid flux: i spent 20 minutes trying to get that british kid to say 'voundabar!" for my own personal amusement. alas, no dice.

i've played cs with this one girl from utah for years now, i've been trying to get her into the server. she doesnt play much cuz she has bad ping.

as for getting more girls to play as gc, i'd say only if experienced. i wouldnt want this to turn into a 'girls join free' server, it'd be really distracting!!!

the new ct model is graphically sound and looks spiffy to boot. now we need a non-stupid looking terrorist model to match. another thing i noticed is that both models stand markedly higher than before. it adds a bit more of a challenge to keep your head down. i bet we stand eye to eye with those basketball playing hostages now, dont we.

as for the new maps, compound is very nice with scopes. without scopes, it makes it increasingly difficult on the cts. i have a problem however with the amount of damage taken away by the chainlinked fences. you'd think you would be able to shoot through the gaps. as for the level of graphical detail they added on train, its on par with what they did to prodigy. as lame as it may sound, i would like to see a low-light map of the quality of train. not that im all about nvg's, but it would be fun.

at the time it seemed feasable that i was banned because of your feelings towards my playing, and there was no other medium of discussion within your so-called 'triangle' because you refused to talk about it ingame. i think im justified.

i've been unbanned since the morning hours and have played an hour or so already. so offtopic it maybe, but we're giving this channel LIFE!!!

Not that I was present for the above incident, but this is something you might want to take note of pagan. No one likes to lose, but it IS just a game, and if you are demonstrating an "intensity and disdain for losing" over voicecomm, its very likely that that can easily be taken out on teammates. The general rule is "if you're not having fun, don't play." I understand no one likes to lose, but you might want to be careful how you let that manifest.

 

Just a thought.

duely noted. its not an excuse for my behaviour, obviously. i try to use anger and whatnot as a motivator.

and btw, its the questionable moments that make this game great. i cant wait for VAC so i dont get such flak. (it didnt rhyme in my head, i swear.)
