    Starting HC Diablo 2 (AGAIN!)

    Sounds good Jackie. I would LOVE to get a bunch of people together to play some HC diablo 2. I don't feel like playing Softcore because I think it's a tad bit too easy.

     

    We could just use the GC TS server. That would be a lot of fun to get a bunch of people together for some good ole' d2 goodness!

    The time of the banning was two weeks ago I think!

    I am not sure who banned my account.

    I was at a LAN party and I let someone play on my steam I.D. My friend's brother avoided the swear filter multiple times and got banned. :o

    It's a crazy world we live in.

    Looking to have my GC member status switched!

    Howdy,

     

    I gave my former account name, "onedollar4k4", to my friend who promptly got banned from several GC servers. I was wondering if my GC membership status could be transfered to my new account, "TheTorsoboy".

     

    This will allow me to play CS:S on my new gaming rig for many hours a week. Also, it will fill many peoples' hearts with joy to see my handsome face again.

     

    Sound good? I think it's a fair trade!

    :hug: Well, as some of you may know, I've been experiencing some problems involving low fps (9-40) and high choke (up to 60) while playing CS:S. I've done pretty much everything under the sun to improve my poor performance but, alas, the problem remains unsolved.

     

    I have similar lag issues when I play World of Warcraft, however the problems aren't as extreme or annoying as the issues I have whilst playing Counterstrike Source. I have decided that will play WoW in lieu of playing CS:S until I can figure out what the heck is wrong!

     

    Processor: Pentium 4 2.80 GHZ

    Video Card: Radeon 9700 pro 128 MB (With the newest drivers installed)

    Motherboard: Asus top of the line!

    Memory: 1 gig high speed Kingston

    Cooling: 3 fans

    Connection: 1.3mb DSL connected via Ethernet

    EDIT:Also, I have been playing with m2's fps boosting configurations.

     

    This problem has irritated me somewhat, and I think a long vacation from this worry will do me some good! Take care and have fun.

    Server Decisions Must Be Made

    I almost always play on server #1, midwest stock. Recently my fps have been extremely low, and my choke has been 0-6. However, my choke skyrockets when I jump or turn quickly, and hits 30+ around smoke or frag grenades.

     

    My choke is uaully around 0-3 on server 1.5, and my fps is around 60-90.

    PISTOL FAQ

    the Deagle: accurate powerful, but only 7 shots. unless you become very skilled with the gun i would avoid it. your goal should be to get 1 kill for every 3-4 bullets, fired. if you can do that, than the deagle is useful.

     

     

    I disagree! I regularly get kills with 1-2 bullets! All one has to do is fire slowly and aim for the aim. Never fire in bursts with a Deagle unless you are extremely close to your opponent. Also note that the Deagle is the one pistol that can shoot through people!

     

    Overall this guide is very practical; in game, I don't always have enough money to spend on a rifle. Pistols are the only option when one is low on money! Plus pistols provide a fun break from rifle use!
