    I was on late,late last night and you xt guys came up in conversation.

     

    The gist of it all was that they (you) are:  soooooooo good, uber good, uber pros, etc.  I couldn't help but smile.  Nice job.

    ty duke for the compliment. we practice day after day by scrimmin and playin each other in our private server. however, EH? has been tearin it up lately. either way it will be a blast.

    so just for fun we are havin an 8v8 xT vs. eh? match. It is going to be THIS sunday night at 7p.m. est in the xT server.

     

    this is just for fun as we all know each other and love playin together but it will deffinately be a blast and will, i'm sure, be just as fun to watch as everyone knows each other.

    its deffinately worth tryin out for a cpl months. once people know its there then we should be good. i think the biggest thing that keeps these servers from bein as full as number #1 & #2 is just the people. everybody pretty much knows the majority of the players and its hard to get those people to venture into other servers that have a different crowd. so if we can get people to just try it out, we might be able to fill er up.

    let me just start out by saying.... wow.

     

    this is my first and probaly last trip into this section of the forums for a couple reasons.

     

    before i leave here i would like to defend myself.

     

    as a military police officer i have been alot of different places. i have seen alot of different things. i have also experienced things in two years people will never know or experience themselves in thier lifetime.

     

    i joined when i was 17 and was active for 3 years. i have been to kosovo, bosnia, and germany. i often am mistaken to be 4 to 5 years older then i am. i never knew why until someone said i "must be living a rough life". i laughed at this but then thought it over more and more.

     

    the things we do over there may be "wrong" or "unnecissary" in people's eyes, let alone in mine sometimes. however, im not gonna go off on a political "braggin" spree because i am in the service still to this date. i will be looking at a rotation to iraq here in about a year and as of right now my older brother is over there.

     

    i am very proud of what he is doing and his success. alot of which goes unpublished. the news and papers and reporters tell us what they want to. bad news is more..... "interesting" sometimes then all the good news. civilians dont know or even sometimes ever find out about all the good that we are doing.

     

    i may not believe in every campaign, mission, objective, order i recieve from the army. however, i am more then proud to carry them out because i may not see the big picture till i am actually there. i may not know how i helped for a decade. however, politics is politics and we will never fully understand the selfish intentions of some people.

     

    i was very hurt and seriously... almost in tears when i read what Kerry said. there is no one prouder of me then myself. yes his statement is open for some interpretation, but it is an outright blast at the same point. i dont want to go into that much more but guys, i know it is easy to listen to all the negative but keep in mind you dont always hear about all the good.

     

    i saw some opinions from people and thier view towards all of "this" and that is thier right, but it isnt something i want to see or read. it is fine and thats why this is here for those people.

     

    just remember as dumb and cocky as this sounds..... we fight for you and all your rights you enjoy so much.

    well if anon and myself brought our xbox 360s, we could get a big game of multiplayer perfect dark zero going. easy to network em up. right now it looks like there are alot of co-op games and multiplayer games comin out. it all depends how many bite for the idea. the only thing is..... i would be a little nervous walkin away from my 360 with so many ppl around... comin and goin.... but if enough are up for it and anon is also, i would be.

    sounds like since they had to go through and fix the 360 that they are thinking about marking it up in price now. thank goodness i pre-ordered it and got it.... well had it. lol, they assured me i wouldnt have to pay anything at all and are sending mine out friday. hopefully this one wont crap out on me.

    btw we have 2 18man pubs a 2 12man privs so where ever you wanna play let me know, we can throw up source tv too.

    any of those would be a blast, preferibly not d2, but if it is the only one you guys wanna play then we can do that. we just scrim d2 all the time and it gets old. but whatever works, lookin foward to it!

    i started to go to school for tech ed, loved it, however just love Criminal Justice more. i love teaching though, so its cool that i have the chance to train/teach a little at this job im at now.

    yea its your connection. if i were you, i would run ping plotter or a trace route and see where your problem lies.....

     

    also, every little thing helps as far as graphics....fps...registration and so on. that is y sprays are turned off. same with bodies. its just onemore thing that has to register on your computer as far as graphics or whatever. best to leave them off but it is your call in the end.

    this is just for a fun rough idea of what the education level is that plays in GC. if i missed something i apollogize.

     

    i have a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science.
