Think I heard of this about 4 a.m. Sunday. Made a mental note to bring it up.

Definitely could have been handled if known about.

I made it back right at 4 yesterday, nice nauseous drive after the Winking Lizard about did me in. Although I'd guess it was the lack of sleep.

Was a fun year, lot's of new folks, and lots of 4th year folks.

First Night

Think I waited 2 hours to ride that thing back in 2000. Well worth it. That hill climb is the worst part as I've got a bit of a fear of heights. But the ride itself was phenomenal. Very smooth.

The thing is, I don't know. I tried to join and I was banned, since I played on there a few days ago without a problem and didn't do anything stupid I honestly don't know what happened. So if someone doesn't look into it then oh well? It's a decent community and there isn't complaining about awps so I like it and would like to continue to play there. I'm kindly asking if someone would look into why I'm banned and hopefully lift it. If not, I guess I'll have to just stick to the cal server where everyone is bragging about how big their ******

That's the only thing I could find for why you were banned which matched up with the logs. You were rebanned tho on 5/22 and 7/2, which just so happens to be the days that the ban lists were combined.

Somewhere along the line, the admin that lifted the ban, and I won't name names, (but I'd like to Duke them in the noggin' (didn't Fatty have a dog named Duke?), one of board members, Duke I think, really likes burritos), prolly just didn't writeid somewhere, or didn't catch all the servers.

So this should be lifted. I'm getting ready for fragfest in the hopes that I can get there tonite, but maybe Duke can get to it, or some other board member or LA.

Going right to 71 would prolly be faster .... depends on if its rush hour or lunch. Traffic and or road work might slow ya down.

This is pretty much right on. Invariably, there's an accident on 270 that shuts it down on the north side. 270 also has a lot more police coverage, with Columbus, Dublin, Franklin County Sheriffs, and State Highway Patrol all covering it.

Going 71 north can be slow at rush hour tho with the downtown splits. If you do go this way, while you're on 70 just past the 270 exits, watch for officers sitting on the left side of the road clocking people.

The only construction I can think of is on 71 north of 270 (polaris area), which you'll have to travel through either way.

Respect goes both ways. If you don't give it, you won't get it. You weren't playing by any name that someone would recognize, and you were admittedly drunk again, something that's caused problems in the past.

I suspect this post is rambling drunk talk given the ability in the past to make a coherent post.

Double check all the configs. Likely something there.

This is an attorney that I went to law school with. Not really bright to tell the judge she's colluding with the prosecution. That judge is now running for secretary of state btw.

6. Loss Are lost packets due to Network problems, either with your computers connection to your ISP, your ISP, or the ISP that is hosting the Server or anywhere in between. If you have loss then you will probably have choke. Do not bother trying to solve Choke problems if you have Loss problems. Resolving loss problems is done by following standard Network Trouble Shooting Procedures. Get a friend to help you or call your ISP, or ask in the Game Server Providers Forum for help. Helping you with network problems is outside the purview of this document, and people who know what they are doing get paid 3 or 4 figure dollar amounts an hour to solve them.

If there were loss on the server side, it would affect all users. Loss is usually your ISP or something on your end, like a router dying.

Admin messages, a freeze, and a kick, and that's not going above and beyond? You were well warned.

There's more to the ban then just not using the name. There's also respect that is owed to the admins. They are here to play and have fun just as you are, not explain why they have asked you to do something.

I'm attaching the logs of this. Looks like Jerm gives some good advice. I'm sure with many admins around here that kick woulda been a ban.

So if there's some assurance that admins will be respected in the future, I'm sure DNA will agree to lift this in a more than reasonable time.

Sounds like DNA went above and beyond here. Policy is not debated in server. If he asked you to change, and you had a problem with that, the proper way of dealing with it is bringing it here. Sometimes it gets brought here automatically with a ban.

The only way of being assured of being allowed to do something is to bring it here. But, for now, DNA did the right thing in not allowing someone to argue with him in-server about an issue.
