    I put my own fix on the server several days ago and this was the first case of it happening as I have it log each time it happens.

     

    Shame Valve can't fix this.

    Dont be on Tsunamis team, she stands in spit all the time. Talpa is a cool guy, dont listen to her! But yes...always watch out for the man known as "Biggs". He...he just changes you...I dont even know who I am anymore...what forum is this???? HOW DID I GET HERE!?!?

    Hey, I can answer your question as I believe it was I who banned you.

     

    It was a 15 minute ban for stacking/ignoring an admin. You had joined the survivor team and switched to the winning infected team, I had asked you not to stack and switched you back to the survivor team. You then were given a warning and immediately switched back to the infected team.

     

    When you completely disregarded the warning and just went back to the other team right after being asked not to, thats when I gave you the 15 minute ban.

     

    It should be over now, glad you came here and sorry for that, but please note when an admin gives a warning, and the rules of the server. Glad you enjoy the server and hope to see you on!

    Hey....hey...woah...woah...it takes skill to get incapped like I do. There is a style and finess that one needs to go down in fashion. Ive been quite busy myself, family stuff with Thanksgiving and all (Canadian thanksgiving). So when I get back I'll make sure to throw some charger bows your way!

    The real Killer of the GC Fun L4D2 Server

    Im not one to usually get in the middle of the drama, but I feel I need to offer an honest opinion.

     

    The reason we have to crack down so hard on everything lately is truly due to YOU the people in the server, yes YOU.

     

    When I first started playing here, the member base on the server was fairly small, tons of regulars, few paid members. I joined the community because I enjoyed the server and the fun it brought without any of the crap. Ive made several friends here, but because of all this silly drama, even theyve all gone away from the game in general now.

     

    To all you members, you know our rules, why must you challenge them when it is you, the player at fault. We understand slip ups every now and then, but when youre consistently breaking the rules and we have to take further actions, it turns into backlash from your fellow members and then we have to crack down harder, because you feel we treat certain people differently and to be fair, we have to get more strict with our enforcement. The second someone complains about a certain person (ie. sess1ons soundboard) it becomes a problem and some people dislike it and feel its unjust to them if we dont tell them to stop. I personally love it, I hate to warn the guy for something so trivial as Ive played with him for a long time on this server, but because of all the complaints about EVERYTHING we have to stop every little action and nit pick all the fun.

     

    Like I stated in a previous thread, us admins do not get off on kicking/banning our fellow players. We like all of you, but we have a job to do and even if that means going against our friendships and comrades, we have to because the server comes first as an admin. Its not a glorifying thing for us. We get constant abuse the second we have to do our jobs or people questioning our actions.

     

    You want the fun back? Maybe understand why we have to do what we do. This community has been around for a very long time and its values have stayed strong the whole time. Just because you dont like them or care to follow them doesnt mean they should change around you.

     

    Anyways, Im done with my rant. Look forward to playing with you all and hopefully this speaks to some people.

    New GC Minecraft Server Inbound

    I havent played minecraft in ages, and I never really played in the GC server...might be fun to have a new map. Same case as Madchillin though, never really was on the GC server much so my vote shouldnt really weigh too heavily.

    Make like 40-60 secs timer for spectators then kick. Those who stay several times should get a little ban.

    Reason being..some people do have legitimate reasons to be away for longer than that period of time. Theres times where Ive gone to use the facilities and grab a beverage, and that can take 1-2 minutes. Thats one example, there are many that are viable. If someone is camping spec for several maps, admins will kick you stating that we need the slot. We use our best judgement in these cases..and pretty much 99% of the time its right.

     

    We can do our best to remedy this problem, but its not fair to everyone to add such a small timer.

    Midnight, I can tell you confidently that the admins do not disrespect people, nor is there any racism. We frown very heavily on that and its always an offense more than worthy of a perma ban.

     

    To be a self proclaimed genius should also mean that youre capable of not stooping to the level of the comment that insulted you and start bringing other peoples intelligence into question. Thats just being ignorant as you dont know Shaft at all (I dont either to be honest).

     

    All that aside, Ive never had a problem with you in game, always played well and helped your team. If youre done with us then I wish you the best in whatever your future holds for you.
