The only time i willing did this horrid act, early round in need of a spitter. Noob wouldn't spit and die. My next spawn included charger killing spitter............... This brought up some issues, and for the most part I have only done this horrid act a couple of times.

It was amazing to see someone learn to type and speak after many rounds of team mates requesting and pleading to spit and die..........

After the few incidents i stopped my attacking method of request.

TEAM Game........ Ok am i not team for team killing? or are they for not listeng?

I would double my dues for voice entry requirements to server.......i.e. hear and respond only.....

So i look for enlightenment on this topic, as trial admin I am trying to be perceptive to the idea that noobs become members, members become admin, admin and members teach noobs and remind members that the noobs are our community.

Votekick was being abused even when admins were on. Also, we're actively trying to add new admins. Just yesterday there were three new apps posted.

 

And as far as new players joining that were unfamiliar with the server, did anybody try to help them? I know when I first joined the game not many people were sharing info with me. I am thankful that I was in Vent with Tirtul and Chick and they helped me out.

 

GC is, always has been, and always will be a community that is friendly and accommodating to new players.

 

My opinion on scrambles might be slightly jaded based on thousands of losses in CS over the years. Or maybe I don't care about winning, I'm playing the game with people I like, and playing for fun. It's not competitive, it's not a league, it's a public server for fun. I don't mind losing a CSGO match 16-1, or 10-0 in the pub. On that same principal I didn't mind losing a campaign by a large margin either.

 

Maybe everybody needs to step back and ask yourself this: Am I trying to have fun with friends, or am I just here to win?

 

Or perhaps we just disable the scoreboard and then we don't have to worry about winning and losing.

Very well put. I do think there is a differense in evryone trying and losing, vrs couple of greifers costing competetive chaos leaving the rest of the team at a severe disadvantage.

To enable push to talk you can go to configure->audio wizard and run through the tutorial. There is a section where you can enable push to talk and select the key

 

 

Note: If you use a logitech G930 Headset

 

1) Close Mumble. Right click on the mumble shortcut and click on properties. Go to the compatibility tab and check the option "Run This Program in Compatibility Mode for" with Windows XP Service Pack 3 selected. Then click ok.

2) Now open Mumble, connect, and go to configure- audio wizard.

- uncheck enable positional audio

- make sure direct sound is selected

Board Members have to make authenticated users and I think there is a master admin password as well.. I'd have to look into it a bit more.

How many complaints would you get for me as admin?..... tonight i kicked my self.

i stopped my membership after coming into game and server was full of members.

If i can not play while game is full, it is hard to feel that i have reserved a spot on the server.......

The only gap is that as I'm new to the server, and not familiar with the order of the buy menu, I had to go in game mid-match to make note of the order so I could set up some binds.

i have already been banned now i face constant redicule of my actions

most recent afk member vetoed my vote kick on a rusher that was further along than i was when i was banned

seems to me that becoming a member gave me less rights and freedom than beforwe i9 donated

not really sure of the standard of this group as it changes by minute and member login

i really ask why we do not have at least one more l4d2 server

After some research i would like to quote someone else that mad might find offensive "Let me ask you something here. Was Parox rushing out EVERY round, or just that one? If it becomes a recurring event, I'd say a vkick would be valid, but something happening once is a little iffy.

One more thing to add. If you are aware an admin is on the server, always try to request a kick from them first. Don't always rely on a votekick all the time since that's mainly there so regular players can "admin" unwanted people from the server" my team didnt have a prob, why u? just iffy!
