Seeing as the server has seen no more than 1 person on at a time since we relaunched it, I've disabled the whitelist. Oh, and I've created a new world too. Lemme know if anyone has questions...

Do you still have some kind of anti-griefing mod avaliable? Maybe the one Valen posted "core protect".

It's a good looking roll for a map, lot of biomes around spawn along with 2 npc villages very close.

I'm moving into the desert npc village east of spawn (the one north is to uneven for me), anyone is welcome to move in.

I'd be fine with a new world if it would help jump-start the building again. No whitelist would be fine for a couple weeks or so, but once people start really building gotta watch out for the griefing.

It was no lie, there was indeed a whole lot of lava. Thought I was done a couple times just to turn around and see more.

Suprised to see a few chest were still there, as well as a bed right between bunch of lava that I kept trying to sleep in. Who needs a blanket warmer!

Welp after swimming in it a couple times, *most* of the lava is gone from the griefed area near spawn. Might be a little hidden still so be aware when you go to repair the area. Left a bit of gravel / cobblestone behind , bit of a mess but easier to deal with then lava

New world is always fun as long as people can copy+paste if wanted.

Buckets of water and gravel.

A few people have spent a lot of time on some major projects and unless they are ok with loosing there stuff then I say keep the current map, can always destroy all your old stuff and wonder off to a unexplored area to make it feel like your starting a new map.

I would say try the demo/trial out and see if you like the game play style first of all.

Its not hard to jump into, the previous games are not required to understand the story and there is a lot of lore to find which can flush out the story a bit more.

You might not be able to catch up to some of the GC people right away, but you can play from start to finish in single player (even though you are still online).

I am enjoying the game so far, and I can only imagine Blizzard will continue to improve upon it as time goes by.

I also have 1 free game demo code left if anyone wants.

And Preacher : It takes a LONG time for Blizzard games to have a big price drop. Considering 3.5 million copys sold the first day.

I'm gonna pick this game up pretty soon, but I usually work on weekends so don't think it would be good timing.

I started playing cs(1.3) in 1999 so I know the game and from what I have heard this game pretty much sucks right now.I'd expect vavle to continue to push the release date back (how unexpected) until they get the game right by the fans. Straight vanilla needs to competitive, Like the guy in the video was saying.

If I was reading it right, they are going to do Bukkit for 1.2 to prevent a long gap between Bukkit and the new Mojang API.

Now that we have an opportunity to design the official Minecraft API, we intend to make it a suitable replacement for Bukkit, if not a significantly better one, while bukkit.org will remain a community for modders for the foreseeable future.

So actually after its all done(1.3 one would assume) there should be no wait on Bukkit, since there will be no need for it.

Minecraft can only get better from here.
