    I am also in the army and will be going to Iraq in aug. I have to do a Rotaion on the Mexican boarder then JRTC then Iraq. Im a 19delta, TC/Gunner on the STRYKER.     So is this game any good? I lost all my free time to FF online and cant get it back and Ill never play that fricking thing again I played 21 hours in a row took a nap woke up and played 16 hours I wanted to kill my self after doing that

    Well Alot of you guys dont know me but I came over to this server when my home server went down (Goop). I came over with swoop and the rest of the VI guys.

    I didnt really ever get to play alot here cause I am in the ARMY. I am Stationed in Alaska for a little while longer. I come on every once in a while and play a couple mins then take off. Since I got my HL2 I tried the servers herein alaska that I played in 1.6 and I just couldnt seem to have a good time or find a home such as Goop. I never really gave this server a chance do to my bad ping and the time differance, and to be totally honest there were a few people that really got my blood to boil in game ranting anti-military crap.

    I have came in the last few days and had a really good time, I have noticed friendly regulars, people that for the most part except the rules. I have read some bans from the server (that I wouldnt have over turned) taken off by the admins. This shows me that the admins are very mature. I have seen admins in game take out trash, still being very fair giving offenders chances. This really reminds me what I love about this game, and am happy to be apart of a CS community again.

     

    Thank you all for giving us a place to play with such high standerds

    As I sit here on a Sunday Morning doing Squadron SDO I have decided that if we still have block leave in july I will be comming there with my wife so count me in.

    I know this is an old thread but, I am from Michigan but stationed in alsaka. I will be away on "Mission" from Jan to the end of March. I will be comming home in July on leave until I go on my next Mission for a year. I will be trying to go to the fragfest in ohio anyone else going from michigan?

    Most people here dont know me cause I dont get to play games much any more due to the fact I am in the army. I am a Delta The guys from Goop know me. Well guys I am off again on a Drug interdiction Mission. Wont be very long should only be gone for 2 months. These kinda missions SUCK donkey. The ROEs are poopty and the people we are up against usally have better weapons and training then the militants of IRAQ, but have no fear we have the advantage. I am bringing my MK-19 Grenade launcher that I can hit a flea at 1300m with. By the way its fully automatic. :) and I have my trusty M-4 and my lil mark-23 "but I didnt tell you I have a mark-23"

     

    I leave Saturday Morning.

     

    If I dont end up comming back before Thanksgiving or Christmas I would like to say happy holidays to you all.

    I just re-installed it on my computer and my wifes, she wants to play games with me so I am breaking her in easy with games I think she can handle. Fps is not her thing at all she cant seem to get into CS :( maybe someday. I am in alaska so I do play in West.

    Yea, Evox was one of teh dashboards they showing and saying all it will due now is void warrenty. I am not sure what day this law changed, but it was on G4techtv Also there was a court settle ment in Spain that had something to do with it and they claim it was leagal. If I find the thread ill post it up. If I cant find it I guess I am wrong till I do :)

    I got this game the day it came out. Here in Fairbanks Alaska we have to pre-order all the big hits or it will be out for a few days :bang: Can be annoying. But I got this game a few days after I got Star Ocean. I put Star Ocean down for 1 day and started FABLE. Now Even know I really like Fable I went back to STAR OCEAN. THAT GAME IS AMAZING and I cant stop playing it.
