Ive been running game servers for a long time, so trust me when I say what you do is nothing new. The blank name with the private profile, the excuses that your "sound doesnt work" and your "key is broken", Ive seen it all before. The fact that you checked if Meng was still on the server before all this, as well as your continued history of incidents on our server, show me exactly what youre about.

 

So I think its safe to say at this point that youre no longer welcome on our servers. Im sure there are many other, far less moderated servers you can join and have your fun on.

Looks like I have been outplayed from every angle...

I haven't been on the server for around a week.

Yet I am banned.

The rules say if your team tells you to rush, then it is acceptable.

In chat, I wrote down "Guys, a tank will spawn up ahead. I want all of you to stay back as a group. I will trigger the tank, while I have it distracted up front, I want you guys to prepare for it and attack from a distance."

Then, i wrote "If anyone disagrees, please tell me now."

No one responds. Not on voice, not on chat.

"Ok, Make sure to stay back this round. I will distract him."

*Tank spawns

Random guy: "Dude, why did you rush?"

Me: "To get the tank"

Random guy: "Ban this rusher"

Me: "I told everyone what I was going to do a while ago. Everyone seemed to be fine."

Random guy "Stupid rusher"

*gets kicked

I know I have been banned WAY to many times now, but I told my team beforehand, and no one complained.

They then all suddently got mad when I did what i told them I was going to do a while back.

If I stay banned, then I understand.

Just a neat idea i had.

What if you mixed:

• Realism versus

• Promod/confogl

With 10v10?

I would be interested to see you guys make a server like that.

Have You been banned previously?

Yes. 2 times for rushing. 2 for attempting to knock dumpters infront of the saferoom doors.

Conditions of ban:

I may or may not have been warned. I wrote multiple times in chat "FYI, my volume is broken, so if you want me to hear something, please type it out". I'm not sure if it was directed at me or not, but people kept on using thier mics. I'm not sure if they were talking about me though.

The map was the second stage of hard rain. Since I have already been banned for rushing, i did not want to move ahead. So I decided to follow the last person of the group. When our team was pushing through the first building, I typed in chat "I need to change my weapon", and then headed to the saferoom to switch to a shotgun. I was then killed, and banned shortly after.

After being killed, I said "You guys should've helped...seriously, why did i die?". It was then that i automatically left.

The potential reasons for me being banned are either:

• Not listening to people (my volume isn't working, as i have said earlier)

• Returning to the saferoom (This is understandable, but i told my team I was going to, and no one told me not to)

• Wining about dieing (Understandable, but wasn't profanic or offensive)

Why do you think you should be unbanned?

I will leave this space blank until i figure out what i was banned for. Only then will it be possible for me to determine my own actions.

Another rule, (That is really obvious and self explanatory) is

Don't grief.

Examples include but are not limited to:

• Killing yourself by jumping off a ledge

• Throwing a molotov in a friendly area

• Messing with the saferoom door

• Standing next to your teammates as boomer

AND A VERY,VERY,VERY NEEDED RULE IS...

Don't kill steal.

Aka:

- Grabbing hold of a victim a jockey/smoker is riding as hunter/charger.

- Even more annoying, is when a jockey steals from a smoker.

Just a question, is there a real format for unban appeals? Or did I overdo this? If there is none, then I suggest that my template becomes the new format, for the sole purpouse of making the job easier for forum moderators.

Also, what does it mean that i've been "blocked" before?

I actually find that funny. It doesn't make that much sense to me why you were banned. Mabe it was considered as spam, but i think that would only deserve a warning.

This may be wierd, but i am one of the few players who enjoys hearing funny stuff on the mic.

Play the attack of the titans theme when i tank comes in left 4 dead? fine by me, i find it awesome.

Doing a multipersonnalitie gig on the mic in CSGO? Hilarious to me.

I guess the admins just have a different sense of humour.

Yes. I recieved a 10 minute ban for un-excessive rushing.

Important details

Rushing is only a 15 minute ban. But i have been banned for a few hours now, so i assume it is because i was rushing on multiple occasions.

EDIT: I did some reasearch and found out my ban is 24 hours long.

Was anyone helping you in your act?

Yes, another player and I were rushing together and helping eachother out while ignoring the rest of our team. (don't know his name) Although...it may have just been an admin observing me.

The event ban took place

The parish, 2nd stage. (the park). We were in the trailer.

Why i should be unbanned

Despite doing what others call "rushing", i usually just happen to move quickly. When i teammate needs help, i usually will help, unless they are far away and might cost both our lives. I just happen to be a fast-paced gamer, doesn't mean i don't help the team (I was helping the guy beside me)

With that in mind, i do suppose i could slow down a bit, in order to help my team catch up. I will try my best to avoid not going too far. Although my definition of too far is a bit off, so i may occassionally drift off without knowing that i am rushing.

If it really is that big of a concern...then i will simply stick with my team and help them out.

I am truly sorry for leaving my teammates 4 dead. And i apologize for those whoom i could've saved. I did not mean to harm anyone else, and i only did it because i wanted to help rack points, not because i'm a troll. To make matters worse, this also happens to be my favourite server.
