    Hmm, so far a Wed and Sunday after 9 sounds like a winner for some inpromptu team killen...sounds like just an informal at the moment tho...

     

    I can't stay on for more than 2 hours at that time of day but I'll be there around 9 ish.

     

    I'm also on most days...and I mean like 5 days a week around 5 or so. (I have no life, there, I've said it.) I only stay on for an hour or two.

    Oh, and i really really think we need to set up some scheduled team play time where we are all on at least twice a week. That way we can get use to each others style and get good playing...and at the same time see if we cant recruit some new peeps...

     

    If peeps see about five or six of us on the same team pwning like we did tonite, then they might be more willing to sign up.

     

    What do you say guys...what nights and times works for yall?

    If you hadn't already read my new thread then you should...just so you know what a blast it was to play as a relative team mang. Having seen you in action...more than once...and had my guts on your manta more than I care to count...you would be a forerunner.

     

    I'm going to talk to fatty about getting us some scedualed team time...so we can all be on and get some practice playing together while we fill up the roster start official practices...

    I was on today (Thurs, 20 May) and so far the team as it sits was on...urk, nubus, ragin, fatty, and myself. I have to say guys, wow, we pwned.

     

    I felt alot better playing tonite than I have for a week. I felt like part of a team instead of the guy who helps everone else out.

     

    Nice, guys, very nice, I want more nights like that one...

    Howdy Ragin, welcome to the GC shiznizel!!!

     

    Wow dude, could I use the help...you bet. The tedious part is getting all the little details down like...what weapons spawn at what node along with the vehilces and locations of the super weapons (cause I don't even know all of those)

     

    If you would be so gracioius as to do a bit of tedious work and document the weapon and vehicle placements for each node on each map, that would be supper...and PLEASE feel free to put in your two cents on strats...the more the merrier.

    Advanced Map Stratagies

    Just a quick update...it is taking me longer than expected to put the first map together. I've got the Weapons, and Vehicle Guide finished...and that will only be done once...after that its just common knowledge. And I have the Alpha Strike done for Torlan...I'm working on Beta Strike at the moment. It takes soooo long to write out the strat, then record to voice, then take screens, then edit screens...

     

    so...a bit more patientce and Torlan will be up soon...<wisper> provided fatty will give me the room for an upload. ;)

    Okay, this time I'm being Serious

     

    I saw you in action the last night, and I was impressed...very impressed. You are quick and agile and your point total was nothing to laugh at. I am going to pester you to no end about joining the team. So far it is Fatty, Nubus, and myself that I have seen wearing the tag...you would be a great addition. Think about it.

    I took a look at the your demo, a few times in fact. I have...and I repeat...I have seen players using AIMBOT in ONS before...it does exist, no question about it. From rumors that I have heard is that it is actually the Auto Aim that you can turn on in your settings...but it have been hacked so that it functions in Multiplayer...and it has been oversensized to pickup anything within a certain distance and inside the players periphrial vision and lock on to it.

     

    Now that you mention it...it was that tard Fission who I ran into before...on a different server too. I was playing on Torlan and my team was making good headway...we had backed them up into thier base. I was at thier corner node...and then I got hit about 5 times or more from the Gun Turrets back at Fission's Base!!!!! even tho I couldn't even see the base!!!!...then I watched the chat text start sayting....so and so got fried by Fissions Ion Turret...repeatedly...oh yeah...he had the hack.

     

    The worse part about it...the teammates were saying..."Hey Fission...get in the Gun Turrets!!!"

     

    So then I died and spawed back at my base and just to make sure I walked up the hill to the tunnel where the Hellbender is on the comm tower...I hadn't even seen a bad guy the whole walk...I then jumped up onto the ledge to look out through the crack in the wall....bam bam bam...dead..."Brillow_Head got freid by Fission's Ion Turrent"

    There is the problem with games...some people who play it are stuck in their younger years...I am too...without a doubt (when I'm at work I swear like a saylor) :bang: . I mean Geez...I wish people would take more responsibility for their actions...good for you Fatty for sticking up for your beliefs.

    Advanced Map Stratagies

    Hey all I thought I would just drop a line as to what I am currently cooking up.

     

    I have officailly adopted the GC tag and have begun constructing some advanced stratagies for each ONS map. I figured that people who are still a bit new to the game might find them of use as they are the same tactics I use and have thus worked really well for me.

     

    In these guides I go through how I use the weapons and vehicles in a bit more than "this is the gun and this is where you can get it" type of thing. I only do this in the Torlan guide.

     

    Then I give both offensive and defensive stratagies for how to operate on each map. I do this from a team prospective, not from a one-on-one prospective...if you want that...then go play CTF or DM. :P

    I also do not focus on only one way to take a map...as that is never going to work...but I give a several ways to go about each with.

     

    If anyone has any suggestions to stratagies...please feel free to email me at Brillow80@aol.com (note 80 is eight zero...not eight ohhhh). If you would send me an attached Word file or Notepad...that would be great.

     

    I'll be doing this from screenshots and voice recording with probably a text guide that you can read if you wanted too, but it will all be there in voice recording. Hopefully I'll have Torlan done by the middle of the week.

    Competitive UT2k4 play

    I have been giving quite a bit of thought to joining "A" clan or team of some sort, but I haven't found any that have been willing to talk.

     

    If the gc would like some personal stats I'd be more than happy to help out.

     

    Fatty has seen me play, I am a fast mover that likes to hit the enemy where they least expect...so my style is a bit of a lone wolf at the moment. However, I get a real kick out of players who think like I do and have similar tactics. If I can I help out a player in need, and I am not afraid to stay behind and defend while the rest of the team pushes forward.

     

    I'm can become proficient at CTF matches over time, but I excell at ONS. When against casual players, I will usually take first-to-middle in points...when against veterans with good tactics, I will probably take first on my team, but would probablly not win the match without a good team.

     

    One-On-One I'm an average player, I can kill and be killed amost equally, but I have noticed that I'm getting better and would like to hone my team support skills.

     

    For a map, I prefer Dria or Winter Stronghold...as the strategy involved separates the good players from the casual.

     

    I am sub-par on rush maps such as Frostbite and Primeval...nuf said.

     

    Non-game stats...

    I live in Brookings, South Dakota (yes we have computers and internet here!). I am a senior Electrical Engineering Student at South Dakota State and will graduate in Dec 04. My hobbies include electronic tinkering, building computers, computer gamming, ultimate frisbee, and relaxing on my motorcycle.

     

    I'm going to do more research on the gc, but I think I would be honored to join the Mob and dominate in the ONS.
