GG! Thanks for the scrim. I think some may be upset with me because I picked one of the best teams to scrim against. But it's good experience and a great way to learn. Hopefully, we'll make things a little tougher on you next time! I have to say I found the skins confusing. Don't take that the wrong way. I just want to prepare for things like that if that's how the ladders are. It's seems bad to allow a red player to have a blue skin. Even if there is a red glow because the glow all but disappears when your close. It may sound like a dumb question but how do our skins look to you? How would we change the way our skins look if the opponent is using force skins? I have force skin turned on and don't know what setting would affect the color that I see. Or how I would affect the color that someone else sees on me. Is it a part of Utcomp? Like I said, don't take it the wrong way. I am trying to learn how it is in "the real world". If it's considered a trade secret then just tell me to shoo. The server we use for practice is actually a home computer set up as a server. It's ok for practices. It's usually public. We password for practices but we may try to leave it open to avoid bots if possible. I am going to try and use my other computer for our TS but I have to make sure I have enough upstream to play and run TS at the same time & which codec will work best. We were shooting for 5est (our normal practice time) so if you can get it set up by then it would be great. If not, then just post what's best for you guys and I'll let everyone on our side know. I need to get the server details as well. Also, Arctic would be my last choice (because I know it's your first!) but if we get to it, it's fine. What better way to learn?

Hey! We'd like to do Dria & Arctic as well but I guess it depends on how long we play. I saw that you have a match on TWL tomorrow as well. We could also do Red Planet instead of Primeval if you want since that's one of your maps for the match. I hate spider mines! I think that the weapon placement on Primeval is great and the whole map although tiny is really well thought out. But I still hate it.

I didn't even think about dial-up. I don't even know how dial-up users can play. I mean I feel sorry for them because up until about 8 months ago I had it. I had cable then dsl then when I moved here to WV I had to live with dial-up for about a year. I rarely used my computer during those dark days. Sometimes I would turn it on and just stare, remembering when.....

I love the big maps w/32 people but rarely do they run well. I'd love to see a 12v12 or more ladder on TWL.

Especially when you consider that your server.... golly gee!, how many people does your server accommodate?

I might have seen something like this before. It was like everything else was smooth and only that one player seemed to lag. It kind of looked the way it looks when someone uses a translocator.

I'd like to do a 6v6. But, if everyone shows up it could be a few more so we can just even up or rotate players in & out. We plan on signing up on the TWL Ladder soon so I'd really like to do at least a couple 6v6. After that we can just work with what we've got & have fun.

I've heard of different types of hacks but I had no idea hacks could be used to affect someone elses weaponfire. I also always thought the perfect turret hits were bots. Well, I guess some people ( ) need help to feel good about themselves.

Just to let you know, English is Anaconda's 3rd language. I think he does really well. I don't even have a 2nd.

No prob at all. I've never considered asking Thelo to demo on the server side but I can't get a client side demo to rec properly. The vehicles sit at the spawn points while you hear them flying around and when the driver get out it shows where he really is then if he gets back in it shows it back at the spawn point. If I do single player it records as server side and works fine. Do you guys rec demos when playing on other servers? If so I may have to pick your brains a little! There are many, many times I would love to watch and see what I did wrong or what I could have done differently. I will leave the server choice up to you guys. If yours is busy we can use ours. Doesn't matter. I would like to play w/o using super weapons. I guess we can just use a normal map rotation.

As for the scrims, our regular practice times are Sun. 1700est and Tue. 1900est. We can shoot for Sun 10/24 at 1700est as the first. Hello, I'm a member of the Smiley clan , and we are building a 2K4 division. We are starting to have some successful practices however we usually only have 6-8 members at a pratice and end up using bots so we can all play on the same team. Even w/ bots on godlike, they are dumb as dirt. We are also convinced that the bots are using aimbots and cheat quite often! Seriously though, I play on the GC Mobo II server often, and always have a great time. I was wondering if we could get 6 GC members to join us for a scrim. If you guys are interested, I'd like to shoot for this Sun. (10/24). I'll check back and post our server details & to work out best day/time if you think this sounds doable.
