  1. Hitman Absolution Absolute Disappointment. Disclaimer: It's my personal opinion, and it's not meant to offend anyone. I can call myself a good fan of the Hitman series. I played all of them, spent many hours just going though the same levels, in order to make a silent and clean assassinations. I truly loved scenario and atmosphere of the games. Gameplay was simple and thought-out. I'd dive in to that world of a silent killer and come out fully satisfied. Well, It took me just 17 hours to finish this game. Beautiful graphic of Hitman Absolution gives a nice atmosphere of the new world, with the size of the game over 25GB I didn't expect less. Interface was changed completely, as the gameplay. The only think that remained from the old series is Protagonist can't jump, unless it's scripted. Oh yeah, the whole game is scripted. Every step, every move triggers something in the environment. Can't call it bad or good either. From my old memories, a true signature of the Hitman games was the ability to find your own way to achieve goals, well that was taken. Playing this game made me think that I'm going though a corridor, wide, straight and without side doors. You're being walked through out the game by creators holding your hand, like a child. Don't get me wrong, I started a game on hard mode, then I switched levels of difficulty and found almost no differences, but 2: amount of Intuition and amount of NPC's. Maybe there is more to it, but I didn't noticed. However, I finished the game on Normal level, and I'm about to explain why. Scenario/Plot/Story line. This is so dumb. First, I was disappointed, thinking it's just one level, and it's only a beginning of the game. Further more. Thinks were getting more and more stupid. I literally wanted to uninstall it, but decided to finish the game just because I already started it. And this is the moment when I switched to Normal difficulty and covered just the basics. Wait, don't throw at me rotten tomatoes or any metal objects, I'll explain myself. I call it stupid, because of cinematic scenes at the end of each mission. Imagine, you're trying hard to stay undetected during a mission (it's hard sometimes), avoid to commit "non-target" kills, with no civilian casualties. You're a ghost, a shadow, now you live this live. Clean and quiet. And then BOOM! End of mission cinematic cut shows you breaking in to a room where your target is, shooting everything and everyone. Leave total mess or even fail to make complete the mission. All you can is just watch it, blink with your eyes. Good luck to digest it. You've been awaken with a bucket of a cold water... I know there are many who wants to burn me now for my heretic thoughts.
