Samurai Champloo Kenichi: The Mightiest Desciple Samurai Chamnploo is based in feudal Japan while Kenichi is present day. Champloo is a little more dark while Kenichi is more on the comedic side. EDIT: We just noticed while finishing the last disk just now, that the series IS NOT COMPLETE ON NETFLIX. Man I hate that. Go watch Samurai Champloo, it's good.
