Torchlight for $10.00

I hear it's a pretty good Diablo clone. I don't really like digital downloads (prefer retail), but I might buy this since it's a really low price. Heads up for anyone else that is interested.

I'm thinking about this too, yup I don't like don't like digital downloads either. But at $10 and seemingly endless positive reviews I might just grab it. If it was retail I would have bought 2 by now lol.

Retail box version is supposed to be out in January 5, 2010, but I don't know if they will ever match the $10.00 price tag on Steam; I assume they'll start at the regular base of $19.99 and maybe lower the price a couple months later (like the retail Half Life 2 Episodes) at certain stores. But yeah, I would have waited for a retail version, but I dunno if the retail price will drop anytime soon.

 

Plants vs Zombies took a while to drop to $5.00 (it's a $19.99 game too), which is the lowest price that I've seen on Steam. They might do that for Torchlight too, but we'll never know when that is going to happen.
