I'm starting to rethink my position for lack of some responses.
-
it probably should.
the bible contains scientificly proved information that no human being knew about until much later. Like blood being the lifeforce of the body. It talks about sanition before civilization ever figured out why. It talks about the stars "singing" which it's been said that if you could hear sound in space the stars all make different pitched hums (kinda like a fingerprint). It specifically mentions diseases that should be kept away from the population and diseases that don't need to be (i.e. airborn viruses/non-airborn).
It's also been proven historically accurate more so than any other book in the world.
it's too bad science is too stupid to pay attention to the truth...................quick guys, let's go make something up again and call it a scientific theory and base our culture on it....YAY!!!
Care to give me passages? I'm not taking your word for it.

Science doesn't read the Bible though.

To be honest, I hate information. I avoid it.

I might have to rethink the whole thing about video games causing violence. That picture might induce me to violence.

I just get annoyed with silly excuses to not do something when there are so many reasons why we need to.
Silly excuses like making a direct comparison between Saddam to Hitler?

War isn't ever necessary. Ever.
What do I think should be done? Most of my opinions are represented in that website. Personally, Bush needs to back down. He has this nasty habit of setting goals, then forgetting about them or changing the subject. Osama for instance, Bush tried to make it clear the the "war on terror" was to capture Osama. Haven't seen too much about that in the news recently. Anyways, maximize economic sanctions, and other than that, keep inspection crews in the country. I don't quite see the obligation to make every world problem our problem.

How many countries has Saddam invaded since the Gulf War?

If in our own minds we are totally justified for this war, why are some notable nations against it? Is our thought process right? Exclude me from those 1st person pronouns by the way

Well, here's some people that can say it better than I can, since the trend here is to post articles:
http://www.fcnl.org/iraq-war.htm
On Jim Lehrer last night, one of their guest speakers (pro-war) said that if the United States backs down then we lose without even fighting a war. Which puts pride as one of the major causes for war, which I don't think should justify loss of life. It would be a preventative war; let's show the world that we are tough.

I count more nations not for it than for it, I believe. Notably lacking is almost every Muslim state, with the exception of Turkey. How bout that? Let's put our hands on the Bible and have a jihad.
