Ok, I'm working on a project for class, and I would love the help of the GC community. It's a simple request really.

I just want to start a pole that says:

remember, PRICE IS NOT AN OPTION

I post this, because everyone has dealt with it.

You're driving around your home town, calmly coasting along in your lane, when someone pulls out in front of you. You have to pull to the side quickly, and slam on your breaks just to miss the other vehicle by centimeters. You, completely enraged and full of adrenaline, look over at the other vehicle as you whiz past wanting to see the inattentive driver that just about ruined your good day. Only, you see the driver screaming at you behind his closed window, and shaking his/her fist, blaming you for almost causing the accident that was entirely their fault. "How dare you be in *MY* road!?" is what you picture them saying as you shake your head and drive off....

Why do people do this?

I was just wondering if it were at all possible to get the stats program to recognize *|CsLs|* as a clan. I mean, it's not really a big deal, it's just fun sometimes to check to see how your clan is doing vs. the other clans. I know it's some automatic feature that picks out clan tags, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Doesn't everyone want to see how CsLs is kicking arse?

Ok, I haven't noticed a post on this yet, so I'm going to do it. What the devil is wrong with the memory error thing. steampowered.com is useless to fix it...at least for me. I've updated all my stuff and what not, and the error still persists. Sometimes I can't even play maps like cs.italy. It's infuriating!

Has anyone had any success in fixing this stupid thing that Valve claims isn't their fault?

I hate smoking....that's good stuff! I love it!

One of the funnier anti-smoking things I saw was on the show Trigger-happy TV. I might add that it's one of the only funny thing that I saw on Trigger-Happy TV, but anyway, it went like this:

There are 4 collegiate looking fellows standing on some stairs and porch in front of an older ivy-league style building. They all smoke their ciggarettes, and as they carry on their conversation, one of these preppy looking school-boys looks up and a disbelieving look crosses his features. The camera pans in the direction that the confused youth is looking, and there, looking at his watch and tapping his foot, stands the Grim Reaper.

Hehehe...it's funnier 'cause these were real kids smoking on a porch.

All I have to say is Ugly Stick...the top of the line isn't all that pricey, but I love my Ugly Stick

I knew 'bout map night, but couldn't we at least pop a link to map pages up on the homepage? It would make life easier for everybody.

Don't take this wrong, I'm not really complaining, just making suggestions. As you all know, I loves me GC!

it's for a literary crit. class, but the thing is this: I've never recieved antyhing lower than a B on an english paper since getting to college. I was a writing tutor for 3 years, and was good at that too. Anyway, I don't think I'm the one that's the problem. Anyone have any advice on dealing with a professor whom is not only cruel but has no idea what she is doing?

I also find it odd that she wears black every SINGLE day! Just a side note.

Ok, Acid's post about his odd morning reminded me of this, and it's driving me insane. See, I have this professor that is completely nuts, and it's actually hurting my chances of graduating with the GPA I've been maintaining. I've gotta keep it up.

See, she hates me and my writing, but I can't drop her class either. The last paper I wrote was terrible. I know because I purposely wrote like crap to see how she would take it, and I got my highest grade in her class yet! She even went so far as to say that it was the clearest paper I wrote for her yet, and it didn't even have a thesis statement!

Anyway, if you guys could all keep me in mind in your prayers and what not, I need a lil' divine help to keep my patience. Nothing so serious as a death or injury, but I'm supposed to graduate this summer, and I can't afford (monitarily) to stay longer. This has to work!

I *LIVE* off strausser man, it's terrible!! At least they finally paved the section next to my neighborhood, but I'm not sure how much more my poor allignment can take!

Ok, I'm sure you guys have seen this question before, but I was wondering if gc was planning on getting the download section of the website up soon for map-pack downloads? I LOVE the idea of custom map-nights, and regularly integrated custom maps, but finding them is sometimes difficult. I went to a link that Fatty (I think it was you Fatty, but I'm not sure) gave me once and could only find about half the maps that were in use that night.

I'm just one of those guys that likes to play "fun" maps from time to time, and it'd depressing when I can't find them or have to wait until the map is almost over to play them because I'm downloading them. Besides, when you download a map from the server, the textures tend to be pretty messed up.

I just thought you'd all get a kick out of where I do most of my posting. See, I have this technical writing class tuesday and thursday morning, and sometimes we are supposed to sit and work on projects. Well, 90% of the time, the projects take about 20 minutes, and the class is an hour and 15 minutes long. So I do my posting during the off time.

Fatty, what if her Tie-rod snapped when she hit the pot-hole? Then she literally would not have been able to turn the wheel, it would have simply spun in a random direction, taking her car with it.

The pot-holes are ridiculous though...I drive through Cuyahoga Falls all the time...and all I have to say is that they are worse on Strausser Rd. in Jackson Township.

Uh...do you really even have to ask!? The Subaru hands down. Audi's may look nice (to some people) but they don't have the quality where it counts. They aren't very well constructed, and not anywhere near as reliable as a Subaru.

A lot of people don't know it, but Subaru's reliability record is only a hair behind Toyota and Honda's, and is, in some respects, better. They make good cars, and Audi...well, Audi not so much. The only reason Audi sells so well is because it's "the popular thing to do."

Be an individual, buy the better car, go Subaru!

(just so you know I'm not bias, I tend to like Pontiacs and muscle cars)
