What are the chances of getting the hit-box locations working? I thought those were the coolest ideas, but they show nothing on my computer.

Well, I know that not many of you have played with me long enough to remember when [LaW] was an actual clan, however, some friends and I are planning on reviving it. If you're interested, let me know.

First off, I'm not making a grab at power, just concerned with the server I like so much.

Secondly, I like the idea of TKing options, but some poeple abuse those too.

Third, threatening to ban people, in my experience, doesn't do a bloody thing except make them act more idiotic....

This stuff actually makes me physically ill sometimes, and having family in law enforcement, I hear about--and see--a lot of it. However, it's important to keep in mind that good things happen too.

One of the most greivous problems in today's society is focus on the negative. The news media will spend an hour long special on how some people were murdered at a night club by some masked hooligan, but they will spend five minutes (if you're lucky) describing the heroic story of a fireman that saved two children from a burning apartment building. Now, if that fireman were to have saved the children and die in the process? Well, then we'd get a week long tribute, but if everything comes out to be happily ever after, then the news media assumes that it won't get ratings. It's sick, and it makes me angry. Local news is the worst at this particular problem.

How are we to advance as a society without hope? I say to quit focusing on the negative, and when these terrible things (and that is really terrible Fatty) happen, offer up what prayer and support that you can, but never lose hope. If we, as a society, lose hope for an improved future in every aspect, then we are doomed to fall victim to our own vices. Hope is what propogates peace and civility. Hope, my friends, never fear to hope.

[LaW] was an actual clan, but I did start it. We got that from the first part of my last name, "Lawman" which I thought sounded cool in CS. "I am the LaW!" (Judge Dred)

Maverick has been my gaming name since Duke Nukem 3D and Mechwarrior 2, so I gotta stick with it! It's got me through some tough situations. :-)

Cedar Point isn't ONE of the best amusement parks in the country, it's THE best amusement park in the country.

It's set the most world records out of any park in the world, which, ironically enough is a world record in itself.

Heck, people come from Japan all the time to hit Cedar Point! GO THERE! It's good fun!

we need something fun back in the rotation, just don't overkill it like some have the tendancy to do.

First off....how come I wasn't in the regulars list Qwerty? Do I suck that bad?

Just messin' with ya'...but anyway, I think the idea of a private server isn't a good one, simply because regulars like myself that wish they could remember what $50 looks like would be left out in the cold with these poor playing conditions. Once I graduate and get some cash, you will definately see a .gc at the end of my name. Have no fear there.

In addition, I have only been a member of one other really successful community besides this one. They were big during the realease through 1.3 back when TacOps were the bad boys in town. In fact, I was a member of Envy| which was a group of TacOps guys splintering off. In any case, they handled things much the same way that .gc does, but the difference was simple..

They Gave LIMITED admin powers to people that they trusted without forcing them to pay dues. There were only a few of these types, and they were people that had been playing there since the beginning. They didn't get reserve slots, just the power to change maps and kick people (no banning).

By doing this, the guys were able to have somone with at least SOME authority on the server at all times. They just hit the trusted people up based on the times that they regularly play. These types of limited admins are easy to manage, and have little real power. Also, abuse is almost always immediately noticed and nearly as quickly quashed.

You guys might wanna think 'bout it. If you picked out a few trusted guys it might work out. Or maybe a lesser entrance fee? I dunno. Just a thought!

I any case, yeah I go to KSU, and on top of that, I used to live in Wright Hall...was a few years ago though and the bathrooms were abysmal! Hope ya' fixed that clue.

Is anyone else getting mad Choke on our servers? I mean...I'm alright on other servers, but in the good ol' gc servers, my choke goes through the roof!

Is anyone up for making me a cool Top Gun/Maverick style spray? Yeah, I definately suck at making them, and I think it's time to represent Top Gun and the Maverick name properly!

Someone should help me convince my girlfriend to play CS. She's afraid she'll get too competative and get frustrated when she doesn't do well...but then again, don't we all?

I just have to say, there is no such thing as a Mustang "sports car" unless you're talking about something like a '69 or '68 fastback or something. I mean, the new GT's 0-60 time is pretty sad considering the size of the engine. Check out the new GTO with its 6.0L V8 engine and it's 400-hp. It blows any mustang clear outta the water! :-) I do like the idea of cvt though, maybe that will get stuck in something sporty sometime soon!
