Only 4 episodes, I can see why it got ditched so quickly. I don't really anticipate this game holding my interest for too long other than a

quick couple of rounds now and again. But it's fun right now!

Though this noob is pretty mean with a shotgun I might add!! How do you change your name? & lets go splat some zombies!

I played LOTRO for quite awhile as a secondary game to Wow, (sometims the two games switched priority ) and I have to say it is a very

good game. The MoM xpax looks pretty good too & they were really smart to have it release a month or two after wrath. The graphics are

some really nice eye candy, the musical score is really top notch too. It is indeed the number 2 fantasy MMO out there IMHO, and if they

still have the 9.99 per month subscription deal, it's certainly worth trying if you have not.

 

I have not looked too deeply into the actual content of the xpac, but there are a number of exciting features. The story revolves around

the fellowship, so your either going in just prior to, or immediately after the fellowships' expedition into the mines of moria. Also, I think

there are two new classes available, and a ton of new content. I don't remember if they lifted the level cap of 60 or not. The one glaring

bad point I noticed with the game was the loot system. I had a pure melee DPS class role against my bard (healing) for a healing item because

it was BoE, which most things are/were when I was playing just so he could AH it. It was an upgrade, so you can understand my frustration

when I lost the role.

Not only are you lucky you did'nt get caught by the police, your very lucky to be alive. I doubt this is over however, as you were

most likely caught on some sort of surveillance system, and if so your going to be charged because of those useless items you stole not to mention tresspassing.

That "guy" you ran into was most likely a security officer that had no intention of risking his life in an uneven battle against a couple of drunks

and was trying to stall you while waiting for the ploice to arrive. I guess if you don't post here for awhile we'll know where you are.

I think just password protecting it would be fine. I'm sure they get the message from that and move on. Thank you SJ!!

Is there any chance of putting a password on our ventrillo server? There has been an incursion of people who

don't even speak english on the server lately. Normally it would not be a problem, but there are quite a few of

them, and they are constantly jumping in and out of the server. None of these people have anything to do with

GC I'm sure, and it would'nt kill us to password protect our server.

Anyone play this and Fallout 3? How do they compare? I'm just about done with fallout 3, all I have left now is to mop up really, though there are alot

of points I have not been to. I really don't have time to play another game now with wrath out on thursday, but I just wanted to see how they compared.

I couldn't add the server to my favorites, from the steam servers tab. I had to join by connect ip from console.

Same here, except I didnt attempt the connect from console idea. Yes, all those in retro were about

to get a full helping of Wayfarer last night!! Alas, it was not to be.

One big concern I have is that I worry that the WoW patch/expansion will kill this game.

Yeah, that is definately a concern. WaR is a cool little twist on the MMO genere, if it

were not for the WoW xpac, I would have kept going with it for awhile. No pressure

on leveling? Don't you want to hit level 40 & start sacking destruction cities??

Unfortunately every souce of media, paper, radio, television, are all to some degree biased. Some more aggressively than others,

but all are biased to some degree.

Got about 2 inches of snow this afternoon. Temperatures are supposed to dip into the negatives and stay that way until tomorrow afternoon.

Yeah, it was cool to run with you Unclean, too bad we could'nt take a keep together. Taking keeps was alot of fun!!

The new patch is the prep to the xpac due on the 13th of November. Alot of changes that will certainly keep me busy

with one toon let alone three.

I'm going to have to leave it at level 21. My buddies have me grinding a new alt & patch has been confirmed for this tuesday.

It's been fun, but I can't justify paying a monthly charge for it right now with vritually no time to commit to it.
