  1. That didn't look fun at all, why are people trying to get me to play this stoopid game? How did they know what was inside? I thought real players rerolled when they die. :prplwacko:

Now what I think would be funny is if the enemy busted out the door when they where making their strat! Their own fault for making plans right at the door, noobs asked for it.

  2. I noticed that newegg has that xonar for $200. If you spent 200 on a sound card I bet you must have $1000 in the rest of the sound system. :D

I never would have thought it but I'm totally blown away by how good the onboard sound is on my abit p35 board, so much better then my old Hercule's Fortissimo III card. All I use is headphones though I dont have it hooked up to a theater system or anything special.

Hehe, my daughter would love your av on the evga site, she's all about Death Note.

Good luck, $230 shipped for both isn't a bad deal if someone is looking for higher end parts.

  3. Does look interesting now that I checked out the website. Hey it does look like Fallout 3, a poor mans Fallout 3. If 50 bucks fell into my lap I would give it a shot.

  4. Bush you have no sense of adventure. Just gulp away and see what you get, could be worth millions, you never know ;)

My favorite is taking a swig from a bottle that you previously put out your cigarette in. Ahhhh the good old days...

  5. This is true to me in a couple ways.

    1) I'm still waiting for 2x$30 MiR from 3dfx when I bought 2xVoodoo 2 1000's back in 1998. I sent in the rebate form and talked to them for about 8 to 10 months before I stopped getting an answer on the phone.

    2) I have a banner in my cubicle at work that I got for free from a local computer company that was going out of town some years back. I'll take a pic and post it come Monday (if I remember).

Hey what's the banner like? I have a pair of sealed box V2 1000's I'll trade up if it's like one of these bad boys. Still with the $30 rebate stickers intacked :spin2:

  6. Yeah if I can ever come across a switch I'll try to put one in, or just have 2 bare wires out the front and touch them together to eject the disk. :)

Yup just a 1 year warranty Unclean. My wife says if you hit it on top the disk comes out, lol.

  7. My Wii blew up. Had to buy some fancy tri-wing screwdriver to get half of the screws out, the rest were standard philip heads.

Just as I figured the spring mechanism in the switch failed. was going to swap it out with the reset switch (dont think I've ever pushed that one) but solder the connections are so small I decided just to put the thing back together. Tried to find just the switch on the net but nothing came up.

We can still eject a disk if we push the button with some force. Just glad it still works after taking it apart. :prplwacko:

  8. So this is NOT subscription based right? So is it a primarily a single player game or co-op? and can you use the same character between the two? Also is the single player online too?

Gonna be a tuff choice between this and the game of the year edition of Fallout 3. Seems they both come out a week apart in October, Fallout 3 first.

  9. The eject button on my Wii broke somehow, it doesn't have that "click" feedback when you push it anymore either. Last time we played it a disk just popped out in mid game.

The unit is clean and hasn't been moved or dropped. Past it's warranty too. :(

Has anyone taken one of the babies apart before? Or had any button issues?

  10. 1) I beat the main quest and have another lvl 20 character in Fallout 3 but really haven't played it much in a month.

I have TF2 but rarely play it any more.

I've taken up with UT 2004 again, mostly Freon DM and noob demo servers.

    2) Only game I play on our Wii is an old title for the NES called Wario Woods, a highly competitive puzzle game I play with my wife. It's only 500 points so get it. We used to play it back in the day on the SNES and we were happy to find it in the downloads.

    3) I'm not looking towards anything, not Diablo 3, not even Starcraft 2. I just got done beta testing Anno 1404 and I will pick it up when it drops to 20-30 dollar range. The Sims 3 might be interesting. Oh yeah looking for a Fallout 3 expansion bundle when it hits retail, will be a must buy for me.

    4) Wanna hit the original Fallout this year, I have it installed... Also replay Oblivion now that I have all expansions and goodies. Maybe I need to go and finish the original Half Life, I think I only finished a quarter of it back so long ago.

Been 7 months already? Here's my update.

    1) Same but picked up L4D but didn't care for it.

    2) We ditched playing Wario Woods on the Wii and fired up the old SNES and picked up Wario Woods up for it on fleabay, better version.

    3) Same here too. Waiting for the Game of the Year release of Fallout 3 so I can play it again with all the expansions. Comes out in October and I'm about ready to play.

    4) Started playing Fallout 1 ditched it and replayed Oblivion with all the expansions (I never played before) with the exception of Shivering Isles, have to save something to do next time I replay the game in a few years. :prplwacko: Oblivion is still an awesome game. I even picked up the Collector's edition for the DVD doc and coin.

  11. When I had a smaller Logitech I used a cross between the 2 grip types more leaning toward the claw style. A small mouse is easy to move with your finger tips and I kinda prefer it. With a G5 or 518 you have to palm it pretty much. I went from a old 2 button 800dpi standard mouse to the G5 and my aim in shooters has not improved any, even after several months. It's all down hill from here... :)

  12. I have a G5, teh tilt scroll wheel was worth the extra $5 over the 518. If I had it all over to do again I would pick up a G3, the G5 still seems a little bulky to me even after several months.

I tried a Razor a few years ago and took it back to the store after a couple days, for some reason it was uncomfortable as hell and I kept accidentally right clicking. I think they designed the mouse for you to put your middle finger over the wheel. Is that what your calling "the claw"?
