  1. As far as I can tell, a PC collectors edition doesn't exist. Best Buy, Amazon, Kmart (according to you :)), and Target, all don't have it. Only place I saw it was Gamestop, and maybe that's a lie. :)

It's because the game hasn't been released yet. :shrug03:

OK, just kidding, but I see the Collector's Edition everywhere. Even in my sleep.

    Here's Bestbuy.

I'll prolly just order from BB, It's on the way home from work. Last Time I ordered from Gamestop, I had ordered the colector's edition of Diablo II and the box was all crushed. <_< BestBuy it is!

Looks like Bestbuy has the preorder with the Coasters. I recommend nabbing a set for only five dollars even if you don't buy from them.. I just sold a preorder F3 music CD for $22 that originally came with a poster too for $5 preorder.

Edit: Maybe you are right VoodooPC, what gives with the collectors edition for PC????? SURLY it will be in stores on d-day just like the pyramid of lunch boxes in Bestbuy with Fallout 3.

  2. Day -10 buy for me. Going to pre-order off of Steam. Get me a shotgun!

Few things I'm looking forward too, custom weapons, better companion control, back to the west coast, made by ex-Fallout 1 and 2 guys... I've also bought every other Fallout game (expect that console one), so why not this one? :)

No Steam for me, how else can I get the Collector's Edition? Don't know where I'm gonna get it, I don't really care about the extra in game items you get if you preorder. I did however get a couple of the preorder Coaster sets from Kmart, even though they don't carry the PC version of it. :prplwacko: The coasters sure are sweet though!

  3. My G5 went on the fritz last month, Logitech sent me a G500 as a replacement.

I have one issue with it though. When I use the wheel as a button in UT2004 to get in vehicles, I just get right back out. Doesn't happen all the time, maybe 20% of the time. It's also hard to throw a manta on someone when you get right back in it. :lol2: Been playing Bioshock 2, works great with it.

I too like the upgraded wheel, it's like a toy on your mouse. I prefer the ever so slight shape change too.

  4. If you can get it you can roll for free right now until the activation servers come back online. Not sure where I saw it but it looks like he got a jump of 2000 regs/day after the Penny Arcade posts.

The web server admin module hasn't been publicly released yet so this will be pretty bare-bones but I'll try to get at least one server up in the next day or two

Doh! I never tried just logging on without a user/pw.

  5. (and I never actually finished the Mothership Zeta add-on..).

Hate to spoil the fun, but you really weren't missing a whole lot. Weakest add-on for FO3 IMO.

I thought Operation Anchorage was LAME. Zeta was wonderful in comparison.

  6. Wanting. Waiting.

I was playing STALKER Pripyat until last week I decided to load up my last Fallout3 character and start playing again, trying to get all the bobbleheads.

Pripyat is just not filling my needs, everything is spread too thin and there's nothing but dogs in between. It's more like a simulator, a dog killing simulator. It's pretty bad when you see Stalkers up ahead being attacked by dogs, but instead of helping you hold back and reserve your ammo and wait for your comrades to fall and the dogs disperse, then go grab their loot. :freak3: It does have some good moments though.

I only have one more Bobblehead to go, the one at Raven Rock. :peace:

  7. I quit buying water, soda or anything in a plastic bottle for a few years now. I make coffee, tea or lemonade and take it with me in a thermos type container. I also use a Pur filter. Don't think I did it so save the planet or anything, maybe it's just cause I'm cheap. :D

  8. You should run memtest first to make sure it is the memory. Ubuntu's live CD has the Memtest built in so when you first boot up with it, it asks you if you want to run memtest. You may not have bad memory. No sense in spending money on something you do not need.

I was going to say that but I figured Primus was just looking for an excuse to upgrade. :D

I like Ultimate Boot CD. Try out Memtest86+ on it.

  9. Bushwack, I'm using EasyBCD build 97. What does your xp path look like? It sets mine up like this "Bootloader Path: \NTLDR" It's a invalid target..

There are a total of 2 entries listed in the bootloader.

    Default: Windows 7

    Timeout: 30 seconds.

    Boot Drive: C:\

    Entry #1

    Name: Windows 7

    BCD ID: {current}

    Drive: C:\

    Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

    Entry #2

    Name: Microsoft Windows XP

    BCD ID: {9679c25b-f24f-11de-81f3-85a430e96d2}

    Drive: C:\

    Bootloader Path: \NTLDR

Whether it matters or not, I have Win7 on my C: partition and XP on F: partition.

  10. I have been using EasyBCD.

I had the same issue. Just fire up BCD (I'm using 2.0 beta) and add XP back to the Entries section, when it askes some specifics, I'm thinking I did Auto and worked like a snap. Save and restart.

  11. i'm a bit late on this but i've got 2 x u2410. awesome monitors. you'll be very happy. btw, i got a sweet deal on them. paid $480 cdn each about 6 months ago.

the plan is to add a 3rd one for eyefinity someday.

I was waiting for you to chome in Cujo. :hihi:

Yeah I'm really liking it, wish I could have got when last month when they were 4 hundred something. Still worth the price I got it for. Everything looks awesome and I love the Adobe RGB and sRGB modes, sRGB is the closest thing to a CRT. Aspect ratio actually works at 640x480 (for my retro comps) and 5:4 resolutions like 1024x768 look surprisingly sharp. Responsiveness is actually better then my old 2ms GTG rated Asus. Still with games like Unreal Tournament, CRTs are the shiznit and this LCD drives me crazy with the blur. Playing racers Like Flatout is just wonderful though. Oh yeah, controls are the best Ive seen too.

Putting the monitor in portrait mode and telling people to come see your new monitor never gets old. I would love to have 3 of these in portrait mode with eyefinity.
